Evolvement of Female character looking in MMOG's
Category: Games Game: All games Posted on Mar 18, 2008 3:45 am
I have to admit being playing so many MMOG's, what I pay much more attention to is the female character's looking except the gameplay. To me whether a MMOG is good or not, is generally related whether it has good graphics, and whether a MMOG's graphics is good or not, just make an account and choose a female character to see if her breast or ass is BIG enough. LOL. It's a joke. Generally in my opinion there are three phases of evolvement of Female character looking in MMOG's
Early period: They are live Only in posters and our Imagination

Female in game poster, hmm, not bad
it's the period of early MMOGs, no doubt we can't find anything worthy except their precursory contribution to the entire industry, when their graphics mentioned, how can we distinguish the difference between male characters and female characters through its low esolution, crapy graphics? In most early games, whether the character I control is female or not only can be judged by the armors weared and classes, because I don't trust what I see on the screen, I dont know the one stand by my side is a girl or not. It was sad, but not that awful, pretty girls in game posters supply the gap of been boring with the same look of all characters. It's the ultimate weapon of us, called Imagination.

Honestly, though the female could be delicatedly portrayed in posters, it was still hard for players to face the matchstick appeared on the sreen, like the Legend of Mir, bikini girls can be seen everywhere in the newbie town, but how could those 3-centimeter-tall matchsticks arose my desire? lol.
3D Age: OMFG! I see her BIG breast!

Archer girl in Priston Tale, busty 0.O
I still remember Priston Tale, one of the early 3D MMOGs I ever played, well it was a pefect game at that time, because it was the first time I can judge the character's sex by breast! Don't look down upon the two soft hamburgers in game! They just improved the players' game experience, especially to male gamers.

when MU came to me, I was excited again, Im sure MU was a milestone in the evolvement of female character looking, because I found out a fact : girls in game wear less and less! Yes, in other games, female characters can also wear heavy armors and it made them looked like a man, if took off armors, they could be easily defeated. But in MU, female's clothes were perfect designed, they didnt have to wear heavy armors to protect themselves, they just have their own clothes that made them a good looking, in the meanwhile they didnt have to worry about the defense ability.
Gamers shouted: "we want less clothes and more flesh!" so, MU succeeded
Adult content: Call of Sex!
I have nothing to say about this part, just see one picture...
