You Don't Want To Play This Game

Category: Random Game: Default Posted on Sep 23, 2009 1:28 am

Look, this game is called Lose/Lose, it is a video-game with real life consequences. Each alien in the game is created based on a random file on the players computer. If the player kills the alien, the file it is based on is deleted. If the players ship is destroyed, the application itself is deleted.

Sounds like a joke, but it's probably not kidding. So I guess if you really want to play it, maybe just avoid shooting aliens and react quickly before they collide your ship. Here is a demo video:

WARNING: KILLING ALIENS IN LOSE/LOSE WILL DELETE FILES ON YOUR HARDDRIVE PERMANANTLY.

Be careful, I am not responsible for any loss of you,  play it at your own risk, (Link)

That is AWESOME.

Because half the players will skip right past the warning screen. Then when aliens fly at them they will blow them up, not knowing they are essentially cleaning their hard drive.

Atleast they have the decency to tell you the game will permanently kill files on your computer... I feel sorry for the poor saps that still decide to play it irregardless.

I still don't want to try it.. :D I don't even get their reason on making this kind of game.

Seriously the reason you're killing monsters freely because you know they are not real..

I think the developers are exagging too much on the true meaning behind playing killing games.. D:

I would definitely say this is fake, since Windows blocks have the stuff you WANT happening :P... also, I don't know of a game that would be so advanced that it would be able to link 'aliens' to files that quickly and dynamically and then delete them permanently... not even if it could throw the files in the recycle bin. The application deleting itself if you lose? Yes, that part is possible. If anything, you would "win" IF you "lose" lol.

The solution is simple: play the game on a brand new computer with nothing on it or on a computer who's hard drive you're going to erase anyway

That would sort of be a funny virus if they hid it and didn't let you know what it was doing :D
