Is Now Here!!!
On the 30th of September 2009,
Run-Up will be launching the Open Beta of the popular new game,
Emil Chronicle Online.


Those of you who have played games such as ragnarok online and similar gravity MMO's will fit right into the massive world of Emil. Those of you who love customizing will love this game, with about 22 different face styles, tons of hair styles (also customizable ingame like adding a ponytail and dye color) and every single equipment that you wear will affect the apperance of your character with tons of equips and items just for the purpose of showing off your style.










Like RO, this game is all about stat and skill customization. Along with the tons of class in the world of Emil, you can build your certain character of a class to the way you want to play. Like say a fencer that's vit/mag/str (def) based as to a fencer that's str/agi/vit (dps). And you have to choose you skills very carefully, as the skill point of the system is very harsh. You can learn a new skill only if you have at least 3 skill points to use (three red orbs in your skill menu) and sometimes you have to wait a few levels just to learn all the skills that you want to learn (also upgrading skills cost one point).
Emil Chronicle is a world where Angels, Demons, and Humans co-exist due to an incident that happened a while back during the war.
Emil Chronicle offers 12 playable classes along with three different races:
- Emil (Human-Vit)
- Titania (Angel-Mag)
- Dominion (Devil-Str)



Play as:
Warrior Classes
-Swordsmen:
A tough guy class where str is needed, able to dish out very good melee damage and then take some back without losing ground. This is the class to choose if you like in your face combat. Very good for solo and learning gameplay.
-Fencer:
This is main def class (my fav class). Very good tank for parties, but also very good for solo also. It can dish out solid damage and had many buffing skills to make up for any lack stats.
-Scout:
The agi/damage class, this class is where defeating your foes in breakneck speed counts. Able to give out major damage without taking any of their own. And whats a good scout without a cloaking skill. A good class for solo, though can be using wisely in parties.
-Archer:
Deals massive phy damage from far away. This class can change up its arrows to deal the most crit damage and is very good for solo and partying alike.




Mage Classes
-Wizard:
Able to deal damage with a sort of neutral property and is mainly a support class used for partying. Has good buff skills.
-Shaman:
An elemental class that deals large damage by exploting the weakness of the foe. A must in a party for damage dealing.
-Vates:
A class designed for healing and buffing, a must of all parties. Everyone loves a vates.
-Warlock:
A warlock is a bit of an oddball. You choose to go all out magic and be a massive damage dealer, in some of not most cases, more then shaman class. Or you can go the def/magic way or even the melee/def/magic way. This class has both melee and magic skills to use. For higher levels, this class is considered to be the "debuffing class."




Backpacker Classes
-Miner:
The miner purpose is to collect ore to make very useful items by refining them. In other class levels, this class group is able to make mechs (machine mounts like a tank!).
-Farmer:
As a farmer, their main items to collect and refine is herbs. Like all backpacker class, they don't level fast and aren't totally useful in the starting stage, but at the end game they become deadly useful.
-Ranger:
A collecting class that gets higher rare drop rates from monsters and treasure chests. A very solo able class due to its high hp regen rate and skill supporting skills.
-Merchant:
A must have class for all your vending purposes, along with some great buffing skills at higher levels (can vend even if you're fighting and running).




And not to mention 2nd job class change and 3rd class change along with even more as joint job classes!

Along with the massive playable classes for players, Emil will offer tons of great features
such as:
Marionette System (where players turns in crazy forms and improve stats/abilities)













Possession System (where players can transform into items to be used by other players)

Piggyback Monsters (mount system where you can ride monsters and machines)



and
Pet System (where players find rare and useful pets that can heal/attack/buff for the players)

Rings (guilds):
Where players get together and unite for a common purpose. Offers many things such as guild quests and custom guild avators (though you have to get guild points by doing quests while inside the guild).
Airships:
Players can create thier own airships (sort of like a private home) and customize it to thier very own taste and style. You can invite your friends onto your airship and be used as sort of a transport.

The world of Emil is a great social outlet fill
