Dubs, to those who have no idea what the hell I'm talking about, dubs are basically a voiceover. I.E. Final Fantasy original language Japanese, dubbed English. Get my flow now? Dubs are widely known in the anime culture, as majority of anime usually ends up in Adult Swim. Dubs in some instances are awesome. But in most instances it makes your ears bleed. You start to wonder sometimes, where in the hell do they find these people? Is trying to find a better actor too much to ask. You end up having a character thats suppose to sound like an adult sound like a kid and vice versa. I'm sorry, but majority of the times when it becomes dubbed, it becomes so squeaky, I'd think my ears would bleed. For me and my circle of friends we feel that dubs can really a hurt a game, but hell its just us. Perhaps majority of the people enjoy having the language translated in english, perhaps we are just too into the culture that we actually care about the voice acting. Sure majority of the times in games we get the short end of the stick, but is it really hard to ask for the option of having the original voice cast? Do having subs really hurt in a game? I mean some games have too many text already so like does it really matter? I mean most of the SFX sounds aren't dubbed, are those going to be dubbed as well? It feels like a part of a soul of a game dies when it gets dubbed. I seriously mean it, why doesn't anyone just leave it to the original voice cast? Why isn't there a option, I mean their are always new innovations in graphics, what about the voice acting? FIND BETTER VOICE ACTORS DAMMIT, or most of the games you'll have people muting the sound and blasting music from their itunes. We all know the people who do it, hell i do it too, sounds get repetative and hell who doesn't think their own music is better? But seriously though, with sounds in a game doesn't it feel like we're getting the short end of the stick? I mean when we play games we're already eons behind, why not give us the option of playing the game in the orignal sound? For those who argue that would take too much time and blahblahblah, has anyone done a survey? I mean i know tons of people that in the long run end up downloading the game in its original voices and than they just share it with other people. I mean seriously is it really hard to ask? Do we truly want squeaky voices that make our eats bleed? Do we really want strong, cool looking main characters to sound like wussys? I wouldn't, maybe you would. COMPLAIN PEOPLE THATS HOW WE GET THINGS DONE! THATS HOW THE WORLD WORKS! If someone really does read this and makes a future, REMEMBER ME AND LET US PLAY WITH THE ORIGINAL VOICE ACTING!
