Stephen King

Stephen King is a splendid author. He wrote more than 80 novels, not telling a word about his short stories. Most of the novels are about horror and freaky things… but there some fantasy and chrime novels too. Well… to tell you the truth, I am fond of Stephen King, and that’s why I wrote this article. I hope you will go to a  nearly bookstore and buy one of Stephen King’s books.

Let’s say a  few  words about his biography first:

He was born in Portland, Maine, in 1947. He was raised by his mother only. That’s why they had money problems. They moved so many times. First they went to De Pere, Wisconsin. Then they Fort Wayne, Indiana. And finally to Stratford, Connecticut.

When he was a child, he saw his best friend’s train accident… some say that this is the reason he writes cruel and dark stories. But Stephen declares that.
He always loved stories about monsters and gruesome creatures. At his high school(Lisbon Falls High School) he gathered some money by selling his stories to other students.

Now he has married with Tabota King and has three children, even three grandchildren.

                                                                                                                                                                   Stephen King

In my opinion, the  best novels:

Salem’s lot: It is about a middle-aged man who returns to his hometown because he wants to write a novel about the oldest  building in Salem’s lot, Marsten House. When he was a kid, he went to that house and saw a man hung from the ceiling. After that day he feared from that place. But now he fights down his fears  and return once again. There, he discovers that an ancient evil lurks around that house… and that he must destroy it. He unites with the townpeople and they take arms against the creatures of the night.

Duma Key:  Take a builder who had a terrible accident, and a beautiful island near the west coast of Florida called Duma Key, and mix them. You will get a wonderful but strange story about will power and friendship and more.  Edgar Freemantle suddenly becomes a very good draw artist when he goes to this island. His new friends encourage him to publish his arts at the nearby gallery. But soon strange and shocking things begin to happen… and only he can stop it. But hopefully… Wireman is there too, who helps him a lot. This is a must read book.

That’s all for now, kids! Feel free to comment… and add YOUR favourite novels' name. XD

I saw The Shining on TV last month... it is really good. Strange story...with a crazed dad. That's very creepy.
