Preview of New Emporia War system (Part 2)
Category: Dragonica Game: Dragonica Posted on Sep 09, 2009 3:01 am
So your guild has gone through 3 hard fought battles and won the 1st Phase of the new Emporia War and you wash your bloodied hands, ready to move into your new Guild territory. Well, guess what. Now you'll have to slog it out if you want to win the rights to own that new territory! Gone are the days when the territory gets delivered to you on a plate (not that it's really useful in any way). To arms! Get yourself ready to fight against the Dragons themselves!
After the winner for the Emporia War has been decided, by default, the first guild will become the host of the 1 star Guild territory.

In the coming weeks, after the 2nd Guild Emporia War's champion is decided, they will be awarded the right to challenge the first guild for the 1 star Guild territory.

Similarly, on the assigned date set for the challenge of the Guild territory, all guild members who log in will receive a notification telling them of the coming Emporia War. They can choose to enter the map straight away or close the notification and retrieve it later by clicking on the blue note at the bottom of the screen.

Once everyone in the guild is ready and geared up, click on "Yes" and they will be teleported to the map of the 2nd Phase of the Guild Emporia War!
Upon entering this map, the challenging guild will have 30mins to prepare themselves for the upcoming battle.

Some of the UI displayed in this map and their use:

1. Challenging Guild's name
2. Defending Guild's Dragons' name and their remaining HP
3. Defending Guild's name
4. Remaining time for battle
5. Total score for both teams
6. Time to revival (when you have been killed in battle)
7. Location of the five Dragons defending the territory
Here's the detailed map of where these five Dragons can be found:

The blue circle with an orange arrow points to the location of these Dragons. To move to the location of these Dragons, gamers will have to press the command F1 - F5.
Dragon's stats and appearance
The names of these Dragons have been loosely translated by myself. The actual English name may differ from what I have typed here.
Flame Dragon

Level: 55
Skills: Fire Breath, Roar, Claw attack, Teleportation, Movement speed Up
Remarks: This Dragon has twice the attack power as the other Dragons
Earth Dragon

Level: 55
Skills: Fire Breath, Roar, Claw attack, Teleportation, Movement speed Up
Remarks: This Dragon is average in all areas.
Green Dragon

Level: 55
Skills: Fire Breath, Roar, Claw attack, Teleportation, Movement speed Up
Remarks: This Dragon has the highest defence among all the other Dragons.
Blue Dragon

Level: 55
Skills: Fire Breath, Roar, Claw attack, Teleportation, Movement speed Up
Remarks: This Dragon has high HP and defence and is known to be able to self-regenerate its HP.
Violet Dragon

Level: 55
Skills: Fire Breath, Roar, Claw attack, Teleportation, Movement speed Up
Remarks: This Dragon has the highest Evade Rate and Accuracy.
Lord Dragon

Level: 60
Skills: Fire Breath, Roar, Claw attack, Teleportation, Movement speed Up
Remarks: The last line of defence. The last Dragon standing before the Challenger and winning the guild territory. The Lord Dragon has a whopping 5,000,000 HP. Not only do gamers have to slash through this meat wall, they risk their lives as this dragon packs a punch in its attacks. It will also self-regen during the battle.
Winning criteria for the Challenging Guild:
1. Defeat the Lord Dragon within the time limit (killing one of the 5-coloured Dragons extends the time limit by 3 minutes)
Winning criteria for the Defending Guild:
1. Accumulate 3,000 points. Although not stated in the entry, I presume the points are awarded for killing members from the Challenging Guild.
Once a winner is declared, either the Challenging Guild or the Defending Guild, a table will be displayed showing the Top 10 players from each side:

What kind of priviledges does the host of the Guild territory get? Plenty! They can redecorate the once-barren Guild territory map by purchasing structures using Guild Points. They will also be able to showcase the Guild's name in a special map showing the Guilds holding the various Guild territory.

In here, Guild leaders will also be able to submit their bids in the next challenge. Once all 5 Guild territories are available, holding onto one of them gives bonuses such as:
1 star Guild territory - Capsule creator (creates 1 - 3 capsules per day that may give complete healing, invincibility or skill point increase)
2 star Guild territory - Guild Soulcraft (decreases amount of Souls required when Soulcrafting and Removing Curses, increases amount of Souls gained from breaking items and increases Success rate of Soulcrafting)
3 star Guild territory - Master Blacksmith (increases enchantment success rate by 20%)
4 star Guild territory - Fountain of Healing (gives a temporary buff that increases HP and MP significantly)
5 star Guild territory - Black Market (gives access to items that have enhanced stats, which cannot be found anywhere else)
