This is a strange blog entry for me...actually it might be strange for anyone....

If you don't care about a back story skip to paragraph 3))But first you should know that FFXI is the first MMO I ever played

So a few days ago I logged into FFXI a game I haven't played in a long while((even tho I'm still subscribed to it(and I mean a long timelike a year(thats alittle more then 120 dollars of wasted money))) i then created a new character((because when I started FFXI I used the name Ghostleader and I like the name Altrus more and for some reason I get hung up on names in MMOs))an Elvaan because I didn;t want to be short((tarataru)),a woman((mithra)),a gorilla mouse thing((Galka)), or human((hume)) and because the Elvaan have a good tan....

I made it a monk((because I haven't before)), and started in San d'Oria((because Bastok is a wasteland, and Windurst is to...well I just don't like it)) plus San d'Oria rules...

After I start leveling my character i get to lvl 5 and am running across a small stream and the Ronfaure forest music starts playing and I became sad...its like i was remembering what it was like when I first played the game and I was sad...just real depression, it felt

I might have written a review here, it might have said how amazingly awesome this game was, I may have ranted my head off in a comically hillarious blog entry, this might have remained a blank blog page thus freeing the internet of at least one file of cluter

But no...I can't get the bloody thing to work...all it does is tell me that the auto-patch is activated, but ya know I don't really care if....hummm, how old do you have to be to die of old age?....oh yea...the game is auto-patching. I've tried the few things I've been able to find but haven't gotten it to work....I'm sad, I can't even get the launcher to come up...
