I'm sick of tired of hearing "we're working on it" and "we listen to your opinions." I just died for the 5th time now today from the stupid pot bug and lost most of this weeks work. Not to mention that god only knows how many times now GvG bugged out and we have to file a ticket to get our gold back. Then there's the nice jewel of helpful community support being told "of course we care and listen to your opinions." Oh and lets not forget that when the server merge does go through - you get to lose ALL of your other characters but 3...all sharing the same bankspace even if they're on different races. Nothing like losing weeks of work because they can't afford to pay the electricity! Even I'm getting sick of this bulls%$@.
You have what could be a great game here and it's a breath away form dying a most horrible death. An entire guild just quit on Earth yesterday, and not just any - the #2 guild. That cannot bode well for the future of this game.
I don't care about website updates - at this point I go to the korean site for the crafting info I'd want anyway. I don't care about future updates at this point because the game doesn't work right as is. How is it possible that bugs like the pot bug, GvG bug, and even basic things like translation can be released in what is supposed to be a top notch product? For the love of god make the damn thing work first.
You know what really sets apart the best game developers from the rest? Polish. There's a refinement in the best games right down to the smallest detail. For the love of god you can't even spell warrior correctly. I've tried to show this game to my friends and they end up laughing at it. They, like I, recognize it for what it is - buggy poorly translated junk with even worse support.
A lot of people seem to be giving COGSupport credit - credit which I think is completly undue. When I was having lag issues I submitted a ticket to which I was told that I should send in an e-mail to their technical staff. They told me to submit a ticket...run around FTW. I ended up fixing it on my own no thanks to them. Fast forward a month and my account unsubscribes itself spontaneously. Later on my account gets locked for near as I could tell no reason at all and I'm told to appeal it with an e-mail. Problem is the lock is for 3 days and the e-mail response could take 5....in actuality it never came. Nice support staff...
This is nonsense. At this point it shouldn't matter if its CM's, AD's, or CCR's fault. It no longer has any relevance. A fix needs to come ASAP or your're not even going to have enough people to warrent one server. For all WoW's failings at least the damn thing worked with support that was actually helpful and is still in fact growing in size. This game is in this neat death spiral into nothingness due to all of this. That's unprofessional and frankly pathetic. Why is CM even considering running more MMO's now when they clearly cannot handle even one. Why has CCR not flown a tech to CM to fix the damn problems on the game they wrote themselves.
Sorry for the flame post but after losing a ton of work thanks to a bug you can imagine how angry I am right now. This sort of thing should not happen, it is unforgiveable. All those game reviewers were dead on when they called this game what they did - it has not earned any better.
