Hey welcome back once again...XD!!

This Asiankitty reporting about CO patch issues...
I have recently gotten a report on Champions Online, saying that their open beta patch had issues like not downloading the write information that was needed to update their client. In some cases that the patch would continue to download right after the percentage was at 100% thus your ended up wasting your day waiting for game to patch up to the latest version. Another case that when your half-way of patching and your connection would just die, forcing you to start all over.
Many of the players are extremely upset that the patches exceeded the causual size of 450 mb to 3 gigs of patches and the people from Cryptic Studios didn't want to release a real patch fix on file servers nor on bit torrent. It turns out that the launcher wasn't able to tell where to put the files, it cause the server to think that there wasn't any files on the users computers and forcing it to redownload everything again.
After hearing about this problem, Cryptic Studios rushed in a released a hot-fix that suppose to fix the issue but about the launcher that didn't know where to put the patched files on the computer and then it cause other issues wide spread across the game. The new so called fixed has cause a major problem that cause all the staff and the players couldn't recevie the patches.
Now Cryptic has released another build of the game that suppose to fix the problem about the launcher that didn't know how to place the patch files on the computer and fix the problem that the hot fix cause. Also they say that they are gonna have faster mainframe to support all the players so they can receive the patches.
I hope that you guys will be heading back here for the mmorpg news, thanks for stopping by...
This is Asian kitty reporting off.
