Theres a very serious logical flaw in the honor ranking system atm, which has a heavy affection on the outcome of the guild competitions in a bad way.
let me explain it with an example here.
we got guild A, mostly lowbies, 30 to sub 45 ppl, which has lets say, 100, mostly active members. they have a hard time pvping, they die more than they can kill, they need more than a group to kill a lvl 45. they are like always on, if not playing, afk buffing or whatnot.
theres guild B, barely grade 2, where most of the highest level players are gathered, who played mostly from the beginning of this game. they have experience, and most of them can solo entire groups of mediocre players. they are active, a kinda elite task force, pvping half their playtime, killing most of the other high levels from the other races.
chipwar time. the race happens to win a chipwar, every online bell (in this case) receives an 5k CP prize. with the current system, guild A receives 500k CP (lets say everyones on, even if 80% is just outside the HQ afk buffing), guild B, if they have everyone logged in (lets say 30 ppl), 150k CP. every time the CW happens, this case repeats. at the end of the week, this way, guild A has a HUGE honor point advantage on guild B, or any other guild who doesnt have that many players online, doing whatever during CW time.
then, all guild A has to do, is gvg with someone (even with their own alt guild, or make a deal with another guild to gvg, just for alibi, maybe even pay back the 5k gold gvg fee after), and they have a settlement handed to them, for which they are not prepared to handle, or maintain. and, no matter how much guild B pvp-s, or tries to have as many ppl on as they can during gvg/chipwars, it is impossible for them to catch up.
now, for my understanding, its a pvp oriented and based game.
so, the solution would be a very easy and small thing. take out the 5k CP reward from the honor points count, and make it dependant entirely on the pvp kills for members. in every logical way, it should depend on a guilds pvp performance.
let me bring up another example, which can endanger the active player community.
theres a guild on spirit, which is consisted of mostly suspected RMT-s, doing money bds 24/7. they have many members, they are known about dwelling around the gatekeeper all and every day, they have ZERO pvp activity. and they have many members. last week, due to our CW winnings, they, in honor rank, made it to rank 4. therefore they are eligible for gvg. now, if they learn that having a gvg make them more cp, and if they win the first place, they can control a settlement, they can raise the tax to the maximum, which have 2 effects on the non RMT player community:
1. ruin the economy ENTIRELY by keeping the taxes at maximum for the whole duration of the week
2. getting an incredible amount of money, and goods (t4 gems, STACKS of talics, etc) that they can sell for real life money, making them even more rich and prosperous.
