Cosplay
Have you guys heard about cosplay?
Cosplay is based on anime / manga character & design . Lots of mmorpg have a cartoonish looking ,because most of them are from
China / Japan , orginaly where is created the manga . In Japan , every sunday , people wear their favorite hero costume because in Japan
its a religion , it is normal to do cosplay in Japan , for them its the same thing has church.

Wikipedia : Cosplay (コスプレ, kosupure?), short for "costume roleplay", is a fan labor type of performance art in which participants don
costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea. Characters are often drawn from popular fiction in Japan. Favorite sources
include manga, anime, tokusatsu, comic books, graphic novels, video games, hentai and fantasy movies. Role play includes portrayals of J-pop and J-rock stars,
visual kei, Taiwanese puppet characters, science fiction characters, characters from musical stories, classic novels, and entertainment software.
Any entity from the real or virtual world that lend itself to dramatic interpretation may be taken up as a subject. Inanimate objects are given an
anthropomorphic forms and it is not unusual to see genders switched, with women playing male roles and vice versa.
Cosplayers often interact to create a subculture centered around role play. A broader use of the term cosplay applies it to any costumed role play in venues
apart from the stage, regardless of the cultural context.

Some of the  cosplay subject is not alway  from Japan , some peoples or compagny use cosplay has a publicity such has W.o.W ( world of wacraft)
and all others popular games .
The goal of it is to create you'r costume based on a special character , it can be in manga/anime , games , movies or everything related
to popular universe of design .( Not normal clothing)


It is really related to 'ART', and have many categories ; photography , clothing , constructions( accessories) , body paiting (facial looking).
Beeing in a cosplay is not simply the look , you have to try getting the same attitude of the character you'r playing .

There is many conventions around the World; 'anime festival' where people come in cosplay , and share pictures & participate to contest
or mascarade (show ) .
 

Team 66

I am a big cosplay fan , and I lead a cosplay team . I think that the goal of cosplay is not to  be the best, but to share  you'r work
with others & meet new peoples . IF you dont know anything about anime / manga , you will find cosplay boring since you wont know what character others persons are acting .


On this article I will present you my cosplay team ; Team 66. It have been created in JUly 2009 , on start I was doing solo cosplay , was my 2nd year of cosplay.
I started in 2007 but really started to love it in 2008, so I decided with one of my friend to take pictures of my current cosplay and put it on a blog
then some peoples posted and I met another person doing cosplay , I kept talking with her every day and I met more peoples around Quebec .
After one month, the team was built and we went to our first convention together: cosplay imaginaire .Our logo is based on the manga death note
and theres is an hand of shinigami ( god) with an apple . Siginifcation? Apple is red , wich is the same color has blood , and theres blood on his fingers.
The name of the team '' team 66' mean the hell of the human world . 666 is the number of the beast (wich is hell).

The team is all member from Quebec in different place , we move to conventions in group ( bleach , naruto , soul eater , vocaloid , etc)
and try to participate to all masquarade , so whatchout to see our next show! ( G-anime 2010)

 I think there is  5 important things to do a cosplay , and start building one .
1- Do you looks like the character ?
2- Can you have the same attitude ?
3- Do you need a wig  ?
4- Is the costume hard to make ?
5- Is there any accesories  ?
