I came across this MMORPG...
Yesterday i was browseing the sites of free to play mmorpg's looking for a game for my son. Do you know what i found.... (hehe guess not) A cute littel game call Nostale it is a comic-style mmorpg.
I downloaded it and made a account... played for about 3 hours to get the hang of things ingame. This afternoon i showed it to my son to see if it was somthing he liked.....
He did like it... He keeps talking about it and asking about stuff... even when his bedtime story was over he asked about some ingame stuff.... this ended with i promissed to look at it so i can tell him tomorrow when i am finished with work.
He has seen me playing wow, 12sky and 2moons. this have made him ask about getting to play with the ''firelady'' (woman mage -wow) and the ''stingmann'' (male knight/warrior -2moons/12sky) but i have to say no.. thoes are abit hardcore for a 5½ year old kid.. i think.
Now we can play a mmorpg togather without him getting bad dream about undeads, orc's and persons spraying blood all over the ground everytime they get hit.
I will recommend this game to others with kids wanting to play mmorpg's.... but remember to set a special time for this so you can sit with you kid while playing... also do not play near bedtime recent studies has shown that kids up to the age 12.. who watch tv or play videogames before bedtime have a bad sleep and don't get fully rested by the next day. That tent to fall in to a daze/daydream if they are presented with monotomic work (like listning to a person reading for them.)
My sons ''gametime'' is from 16:30 to 17:30 if he want to play on the PC or else he do not get to play that day. This work fine for us.
