Dear Codemasters.
I am not quite sure what you test a patch with, or how you test it, but...
ARE YOU NUTS?
Did you EVER consider the fact, that by reducing the delay of cure chargers, you create a scenario in wich accretians basically become immune to debuffs? And they don't have to stop moving for it either...
So, let us take a look at the whole situation and if you can't follow me, speak up and I will talk a bit slower for you:
1. Accretians are the ONLY race that can get +100% attack AND +100% defense AND permanent Revealer AND permanent speed increase from elementals. No other race can come even close to that.
2. Accretains already have a 17% improvement over their BASE armor class, improving the advantage from their elementals even further.
3. Accretians have the highest damage weapons in the game.
4. Accretians retain their ability to use debuffs
5. Accretians retain their ability to remove buffs from enemy players
6. Accretians don't have to stop moving to remove their debuffs
7. Accretians are fully self sufficient in removing their debuffs.
What was your answer to that?
1. Nerf Staves
2. Buff Cure chargers by pretty much removing their potion delay.
Okay, listen, if you want Accretians to be immune to debuffs, just change the game. Don't come up with Bullsh*t changes. The cost for Cure chargers is negligible. It is a fraction of the additional cost in health potions I have from receiving more damage than an accretian.
The Cure charger change affects not just one race. It negatively affects ALL races but the accretian one, while providing a substantial advantage to the accretian race.
What the hell are you balancing? What the hell are you testing your changes with? Has anyone of you EVER PvPed in your friggin life? Have you EVER thought about the consequences your changes might have?
So, here is my advice:
Get CCR on the Phone and get those cure charger back to normal! NOW! You may thinI am threatening here, but you are obviously missing the fact, that this simple change WILL cost you customers. It WILL cost you money!
So, for once in your life, show some common sense and get that sh*t sorted out!
