Different Types of Gaming

What kind of games do you play? I'm not talking about fantasy or sci-fi or any other genres, I'm talking about the types of games. As you know, the gaming industry is quickly transforming. From a well written Role-Playing Game (RPG) to mind boggling Real-Time Strategy (RTS), the gaming industry has many types of games to offer. Pretty soon, some of these well known and often played game modes will be a thing of the past. I'm going to tell you about the many choices we have when choosing a game to play.

Well, heres a term that I'm sure almost everyone is familiar with, Online Gaming. What online gaming means is that people are able to play their games online with people across the globe. We mostly use the internet to accomplish this task. Pretty amazing huh? At this day and age, online gaming is very common. Pretty soon, offline gaming will be a thing of the past. Almost any game released nowadays has an some kind of online feature, whether it be to play against other players or downloading addons, we're all online.

MapleStory Pirate Job Getting Everyone Hyped Up?

Hello everyone and my name is AvonGenesis. As some of you may know/heard of, MapleStory will be adding a new job to Global MapleStory soon. As far as I know, Korean MapleStory and Taiwan MapleStory have the jobs added, Korea had their pirate job released first. I'm just here to share my thoughts on it and give off a few information about it.

Introduction to Pirates

Well, where should I start. Pirates are a new job that have been recently added and its the first time that they have released/made a new job somewhat different from the 4 standard jobs we have (Warrior, Magician, Thief, and Bowman). Pirates can go off into 2 branches, one being an "Infighter" who uses knuckles/fists to kill and the other one is a "Gunslinger" who use guns to kill. I won't go too deep into detail but give you a brief overview of what each branches' pros and cons are. I'll start with the infighter.

Infighters

Pros:

Very high damage at low level and throughout their continuing levels.
They have a transformation skill at 3rd job which gives them a good boost.
They have a "Special" Darksight that turns them into a barrel.

My First Day Playing Mabinogi

Well, on Feb. 25, I waited anxiously to try out the Mabinogi Pre-Open Beta. As soon as the servers opened, I went on and created my character and started playing. My first impression was that "what? Is something suppose to happen?" I was in that area where you talk to Nao and it usually takes time before she appears and stuff. So after i talked to her, I went on into the Mabinogi area (I think thats what its called) and i saw foxes killing chickens and chickens killing foxes

I thought that was kinda cool, after taking about 6 minutes, I finally found out that I was suppose to talk to that guy that gives you the talking sword. So I the went into Tir Chonnail (beginner town) and talked to the chief and headed off to Trefor, The video clip was awesome by the way

I then did my first dungeon and surprisingly, I knew what to do because of those videos I watched on the Mabinogi website. I then continued doing dungeons until i became about level 10 and then I found out that we could play music, I knew then and there that I wanted to be a musician so i spent the rest of my time leveling up my music playing rank and composing rank ( I had a lot of ability points left over becaus
