The project was confirmed during the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational, which took place a few days ago in Paris. "There is still one unknown project," said Blizz exec VP Rob Pardo to OnlineWelten. "We have another development team."

Pardo also mentioned Blizzard's recent job listings for an "unannounced next-gen MMO." Earlier they made it clear that this new project is not another add-on for World of Warcraft.

At this point, fans are speculating it could be a new MMOG set in the StarCraft universe, while others seem to think that Blizzard means to spice things up a completely new franchise.

"The idea of a new franchise is very intriguing to employees of the company," explains Blizzard COO Paul Sams. "Are we ever going to release a new one?
You may have noticed there's a mysterious wallpaper that in blizzard's official site two days ago.

What does it mean? A rune was found in the wallpaper. Someone guess it's belong to rune of Frostmourn, and someone think it's the rune in diablo2. That's interesting because if it's the latter one, that means .... right, DIABLO3!!!

And official site updated the wallpaper yesterday, just the same scene, with two runes in it.

PS: In addition, there's a post on Gamespot that analyse why it's diablo3 not WOTLK.

Well, of course, I do expect it's the latter one. I've tried some diablo like game such as Titan Quests, Hellgate: London, Dungeon Siege and so on. They are good games too, but none of these games give me the feeling when I was addicted in diablo series.

So, what's the answer? Let's expecting it on WWI2008!

http://my.mmosite.com/lean/Blog/Item/81184ce83bb6f1ba822159a62105d222.html

What is spore? Maybe some of u have heard it, but for those who didn't, it's too hard to describe what is spore in some words. Because it's a complicated game with much fun.

Spore is a multi-genre "massively single-player online game" under development by Maxis and designed by Will Wright. The games and films with which Wright associated the various phases are:

   1. Pac-Man for the cell phase
   2. Diablo for the creature phase
   3. Populous for the tribal phase
   4. Simple versions of SimCity, Risk, and Civilization for the civilization phase
   5. SimEarth, Destroy All Humans!, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Star Trek and 2001: A Space Odyssey for the space phase, with elements of sandbox gameplay.

And recently Spore Creature Creator is released and I just tasted it yesterday. It's very funny I could say! So I even kept playing it until 4 am this morning.

U can see what creature other ppl have designed here:
http://www.youtube.com/spore

The full version of the game is due to be released on September 5, 2008 in Europe, and September 7, 2008 in North America and other territories. So I'm looking forward to this great

My game life in AOC and a short review

http://my.mmosite.com/lean/Blog/Item/66d2f8f4b7f84ac7aa8de50b754386a1.html

After long time waiting, I started my adventure on anticipated game AOC several day ago.

I should say it's a nightmare that to dowload nearly 2G patches online. It's quite annoying when you see the speed 4-10 KB/S ... I wonder why didn't they make a manual patch to download?

Anyway I finished updating at last, and enter the world with excited heart. After type in my account and password, I need to create a new character. Yup u can customize many things as hair, eyes, chest, height... I can't count them all lol and I have no interest to waste time on customization. So I choose a Aquilonian Barbarian and click "play" immediately!

WOW! I should say I was shocked by the graphic first. Of course u should have a good comptuer spec to set graphic to "High" quality. Unlike the cartoon style in WOW, the AOC's graphic is reallife style. So u can enjoy beautiful scene here.

Then I pick my first quest, free Casilda by finding key on some mobs. So the first combat in AOC start! I simply click 1, 2, 3 on my keyboard to attack monsters, and they are killed rapidly. I feel myself full of power lol, well it's just level 1 monster, should I be so proud? Ca

Yes, it's ture, visit http://www.aiononline.com/us, the new website of US AION.

"When there are so many exciting things happening, it is hard to pick one or two topics to blog about. Aion’s development is progressing nicely, and will be showcased at a number of conventions in coming months, more staff will be brought on the team in the near future, and today marks the launch of the new US and European Aion websites. The former three topics are more appropriate for blogs from others on the team or future announcements; the latter is a topic I want to chat about." ------------- NC Austin’s Community Relations Manager: Charles ‘kieron’ Dane

So, after long time waiting, it's approaching.
