"Sticky" is available in blog

In forums mods have the authority to stick threads to strike the eye
now this function is available in our blog.
Suppose you are a prolific blogger, when your new articles come out, your former works which is excellent and wanted to be shared will be moved backwards, it might be a bit troublesome to click pages to find them. With this function, you can place an article in front of your latest one as "My Recommendation".

How to do that? Simplely follow several steps
1) Click "Article management"

2) Select the article you want to stick, click "Stick"

3) There is a "cancel" button for you to unstick the article.

4) Back to your main page, a column "My Recommendation" will come out with the sticky articles there.

Topic for Writer Club

Recently there is a big debate about Wind Slayer and Maple Story’s resemblance. Most players think WS is just a clone of MS not only in the graphics, but also of the gaming style, but someone still holds the opinion that Wind Slayer has its own features with innovation.

This is the very topic that we want you Writer Club members to write about, we ask you to make reviews on plagiarizing phenomenon among MMORPGs, like KartRider and Wii Mario Kart, 4Story and World of Warcraft, etc. You are required to research this phenomenon and give out your views or solutions. Besides you also can talk about something related to the same features or graphics.

Please post your article on your own MMOsite Blog before May 14th, then there will be a column on MMOsite Feature to publish your articles to let all of MMOsite members to talk about this. We are expecting all your excellent work. Get it done, guys =)

A small update of blogging editor

At this time music is available in the editor
it's more convenient for those who don't exactly comprehend codes to share music.
Pay attention to "My Album", it's the new upload & insert image function which I have introduced in my previous diary.

Click the music icon, music properties pops up with several blanks
You need get the music link first, then put it right in "URL" blank
Remember that you should make sure the link finishes with ".mp3" or".wma" at the end

Hello, everyone =)
Today I bring you a small update about comment function
That is, editor is available now when leaving a comment!
Here we go.

Bold, Italic and underline, text color and background color

You also can insert smilies

How about a picture? Yes, but you should get the image link first

In order to keep a tidy page, you should remember do not put large-sized pictures when commenting.
Hope this small improved funtion could help =)

Reply function improved

Hi, all. How are you today? Have you ever been puzzled by how to reply directly to the one who commented your article? Well this is what I bring you today that we have comment reply function improved and I think it's good for your user experience. Follow me please. =)

You can find "Reply" button behind the date of the comment, just click it.

1) then, there will be a text area with two buttons out below your visitor's the comment
2) press "post" to reply him/her and press "cancel" to close it if you dont want to reply.

When done, your word will be posted under his/her comment.

Blogging tips: new upload & insert image function

Hey guys, we have new upload and insert image function available now, just follow the next four steps

Click the small icon on the editor

A window pops up as following

1) it shows all of your uploaded images in your albums, you can choose one album to view pictures in it.
2) Click 'upload photo' to active the uploading page in order to submit a new photo.
3) Click 'thumb' to insert a thumb of this picture to your article, click 'original' or image to insert full size of the picture

It's more convenient to improve your writing efficiency, I hope it helps you.

Hey, yo. What MMORPG have you played or what are you playing now? Have you captured any memories of your own character in game? Luxurious equipments, handsome silhouette or anything, just upload your character's screenshot here on MMOsite blog and join our contest, showing off your whatever look in-game!

General:

1) Contest will begin on April 10, 2008
2) The deadline of the contest will be April. 30 , 11:59PM (GMT)
3) Vote phase will begin on May 1st, end on May 15.11:59PM (GMT)
4) Only MMOsite members could join the contest, please sign in to join or sign up to be a member first.
5) Winner will be announced on May 16th

How to:

1) Upload your character screenshot in your MMOsite blog album first.
2) Post an article with the screenshot attached in it.
3) Game name, server, and your IGN are required to be written in the article.
4) You need say something about your character, 100 letters at least.
5) You can upload different characters of different games

Who commented my article?

"When I logon in my MMOsite blog, how do I know who has commented my article and which one did he/her comment?" Don't worry, with the following a small improvement, it's easier for you to locate the latest comment on your blog.

In "Comment management" we can just view the latest comment and the user who leaves it, but we don't know on which article he/she leaves the comment, so it wasn't that convenient to find the very comment on the very article if you wrote many articles. Now we made a small improvement.

Remember to click "Comment management" after you logon in your blog, then you can see a page of all comments

If you have got a new comment, you can click it to view the article your visitor commented, so it's more convenient, I hope it helps =)

We'll do more further improvement of comment management and other blog functions soon, keep an eye on my developer diary and if you have any suggestion or idea, just let me know, we can work it out together, thank you =)
