... and Pirate101

Pelagato should be blogging about Wizard 101 and Pirate 101 because he's from Purerto Rico. The development team that created Wizard101 and Pirate101 are based in Texas. It's easy for Pelagato to blog about it, considering he is freom Purerto Rico and he can relate to the people much quicker, making the blogging worth while.

With Pirate101 released and active. It gives Pelagato more to talk about!

Pelagato should start blogging about it right away!

Pirate101? Now I'm Annoyed!

News of a new MMO titled Pirate101, an offshoot of Wizard101 from KingIsle Entertainment has come about. What annoys me the most about the game, let alone the entire 101 series is that it's doing well and I'm not taking part.

Despite the fact I recommended Wizard101 and admitted that the game wasn't for me and told many to play it. I'm annoyed the game is doing so well that they've decided to produce a Pirate version aswell.

What annoys me about this is that I'm not taking part and their success happened very fast.

How about my fan choice of MMOs like Shin Megami Tensei and Need for Speed World Online (which I've invested in), how come they don't have spin offs?

Pirate101 is a good example of an MMO which you accept it's going to be good, you wouldn't want to play if your in

Wizard101: Why are you Stuck on Level 6?

I've noticed something very interesting and that is players get stuck on Level 6. Last week, my little brother was playing the game over and over again and he was stuck on Level 6, so I offered to buy him crowds, the game cash to BUY new areas. So I bought 5000 crowds for him! He bought the new areas and just yesterday he went to level 17. I believe the level cap in Wizard101 is level 60, that's some serious improvement considering that he was on level 6 last week and stuck being level 6 for weeks on end.

I overheard him talking to his friend and he was on level 6 and my brother told him it was level 12 (at the time) and his friend was surprised in amazement.

Players are stuck on level 6 because they're HAVE to goto the new areas which have to be purchased, I think it's amazing

Hey guys, its Wingo again,

I'm not sure if this game is popular amongst you guys, but here's my point, I LOVE THIS GAME! Haha, although it seems as if its for little children, I'm assuring you that this is something good. I've been playing it ever since last year, and I've seen a lot. As to explain more, visit its official website at:

www.wizard101.com

Doesn't sound attractive, right? Well, believe me, this is a game with pretty good graphics. It doesn't lagg a lot, and it has low system requirements. Its membership fee is normal. Nothing good or bad about it. Although I do have one question unanswered (that I don't bother to ask until now), Is this considered MMO? I find it interesting. It had a Beta Period, but I'm not sure if that makes it an MMO. I don't need to know. Just another game to try out.

Hehe, its really addicting.

See ya guys around!

Reviewing Wizard101: Magic is afoot!

There are many games online, we all know this. From cutting edge to the old and faithful, there is something for everyone. Wizard101 fits a niche that there seems to be a lack of, and that is family friendly MMO's.

W101 is a game with a wizarding school theme. Not to name any names, but our favorite prodigal wizard and his friends would feel right at home here at Ravenwood.

Wizard101 has some fantastic features to it, mainly the security and privacy settings so that parents can control when and how their children play.I know that many games now offer this feature, but many of those games are not as friendly or easy to interface with as W101. The login is simple, character creation is actually fun and would be easy for younger gamers to grasp.

As you walk through the first few quests, you encounter the very cool combat system that is a hybrid of a collectible card game and a Final Fantasy type game. Your spells that you cast while in combat are governed by the different types of creature and spell cards that you carry in your spell deck. These cards are obtained as loot, through quests, and by trainers of the specific Wizardry school you decide to focus on. You hav

Online entertainment company KingsIsle Entertainment, Inc. today announced plans for Wizard101, an elaborate 3D virtual world in which magic and sorcery come to life as players embark on a quest that involves a massive cast of good, evil and frequently silly characters. Designed to fill the void between online play sites for the very young and Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) games with mature adult interaction, Wizard101 (www.wizard101.com) puts players in the fantasy role of a Wizard apprentice at the Ravenwood School of Magical Arts.

"While the fantasy adventure storyline and collectible card elements of Wizard101 have broad appeal, as a parent I take the responsibility of creating a positive online environment for younger players very seriously," said KingsIsle CEO Elie Akilian. "Wizard101 is a destination for tweens and teens that's creative and witty, but still safe. We've set the bar high for this game."

    J. Todd Coleman, an MMO veteran and the creative mind behind Wizard101, is heading up development of the game, which has been in the works for three years. In the game, players will adventure through magical 3D environments as they learn, collect and
