So I decided to do a video showing off the character creation in C9. I -was- going to do audio commentary giving a "what I thought" of each feature and model, but I set up Fraps wrong and failed on that part. Noticed it about half way through and decided to just keep rolling with it since I had  1 1/2 characters done. Did one of each, since the game is character/gender locked like Vindictus. (Which I am not a fan of) So I hope you all like the video anyway, and I will make sure mic input is on in the next video.

Few thoughts on the character creation at present:

1. I hate gender locking

2. Fighter looks like he is on steroids, Ranger looks like a cross dresser, and the Shaman kind of looks like a street walker. Though you do have the tools to make them look a bit less like each.

3. Options are decent, but they could have done a bit more with it such as changing body type a bit more, and not just height.

4. Face options are a bit lacking, but hopefully they add more later.&

I am here to tell you about WEBZEN  and their poor customer support, and a major security flaw , that has been on going for 2 years now.

Over the past 2 years WEBZEN staff have been told about a log-in authentication issue , where players log into their own accounts and just happen to get on someone elses. They choose to ignore the issue for 6+ months as there was no signifact proof as it happened so randomly it was hard to get proof. A simple screen shot never really proved anyhting.

With players telling them of the issue they say they are working on it etc yet no annoucment has ever been made regaring the issue, This happens in all WEBZEN games in their europe and north american site for MU S.U.N and ARCHLORD.

With archlord this is a huge security risk as people are able to delete any charcter as webzen had removed the password verification when you clicked the delete button. Not only is this a security risk but 100's of players have lost valuable items , t

I got a beta invite to play ArchlordX!

I've always loved the first Archlord. Pay-to-play quality in a free-to-play market was a huge appeal, and the constant threat of being pk'd made it really thrilling. I hadn't actually known that ArchlordX was in the works so i went in pretty much blind. I'm interested to see how becoming the Archlord will play out in the sequel.

From the looks of things, this game takes place 100 years after the original Archlord. My Moonelves and Dragonscions are nowhere to be found and it looks like the Humans and Orcs are locked in a war. If remember correctly from the orignal Archlord, the moonelves were searching for a new race as a mating option since the males of their race were nearly extinct. It's 100 years later and the orcs have blue skin. Hmm...

Webzen has annouced the PRE-CBT Date for their latest MMORPG R2.  Below will be some details about the game. The PRE-CBT Starts on the 7th of september and will end on the 21st of september.

R2 offers 5 classes with their own unique gameplay, style and abilities.

1. Knight

 

After ruining peers by force, Knights became the new ruling power whom are strong at close combat. Only Using Close range weapons made one‟ s body like a steel with Physical training and ascetics.

 2. Ranger

 

Most of rangers are commoners whom are specialized in both long Ranged weapons and close range battle. No one can disregard them with their agile movement from real experience and good with various weapons.

Finally, the time draws near for us normal people to play the ultimate pk game, SUN online. The company Webzen is bringing it to us. It has a few other games released before SUN, and their all in good shape, so my expectations are high regarding this game, and publisher.

 While playing Mu, one of the most exciting events is Illusion Temple. It’s an occasion to meet other players of your level, and get awesome amount of EX points. It only runs for 20 min max, so it’s a great way to have fun, get items & Exp in a very short time. It is basically a PVP event that runs every 4 hours a day, for a min. of 4 players and a max. of 10 players. You have to be level 220 up to 400+, and it is done at a first come first served basis, so be sure to check it as often as you can. In order to get into Illusion Temple, you have to first find a Mirage the Mommy in Elvland (see below image),   and hand him an invitation letter (Yes it wasn’t going to be free :p )of which you can obtain through combining Scroll of blood ( Old scroll+ Illusion sorcerer covenant(of the same level), along with one Jewel of Chaos) at the Chaos Goblin Machine in Noria.

 Depending on your level, u will need different amount ZEN as well.

U have only about 5 minto enter the temple at every given hour, and the event will automatically commence when there is a min. number (4) of players. If the min. number is not met, you will be transferre

Webzen had a splendent time several years ago, since it released first MMORPG "MU Online". But now, it faces a crisis - Korean company Liveplex and NEOWAVE who keep Webzen's stock join together and might bring a hurricane to Webzen. They are now keeping 11.46% stock which is larger than Webzen's CEO who keeps 6% stock. So the CEO will probably be fired and many managers will be changed too in Webzen.

Webzen is over the hill since bots and private servers of "MU Online" spreaded in 2003. And after four years financial deficit, its new MMORPG "SUN" and "Huxley" still didn't save itself. What's the future of Webzen? Who konws. But I wish things would be better after it's reformed.

And same thing happened to other major Korean MMORPG developers too. Such as Tabula Rasa Totally Tanked? NCSoft Austin Downsizing?, Japan's GungHo to acquire S.Korea Gravity majority.
