For anyone out there who is looking for a little Halloween spirit, or for anyone who just enjoys dressing up than this contest is for you! Grand Fantasia is holding a Halloween costume competition which can either be R.L. (Real Life) or in game!
Thought I'd post some of the details.
The end date is Friday, October 29th 2010.
So the Rules of the competition (both for Real Life and In Game):
- Only up to three submissions per account
- Keep it clean. Nothing that is "Not Work Safe"
- No trolling or flaming other submissions
- No Photoshopping!
- Submissions MUST contain a link to the picture otherwise they will not be counted.
- Submissions must be submitted by 10/29/10 at 11:49 AM PDT in the following format:
Account name -gm_pariah
Image of your costume + account name alongside the costume
-Any submissions after the cut off time and date will be disqualified no matter how good they may be.

A gentle introduction into the world of interactive fiction, Nestlings is Lewis Denby's second foray into the genre. The first of four Half Life 2 mods in this run down, it's a short and creep story.
Though thematically slight, it's a brave mod that challenges your preconceptions. You can't shake the fear that NPC foes will emerge at any turn, pulse rifles blazing, but the final pay off is far more subtle.

When interacting with other players in MMOs, you must maintain these 10 rules of play to have a safe and productive online experience. These are easy to follow and I'm sure a lot of you will agree.
Don't Be a nuisance because you can or kill steal.
Don't Be rude or over use the word Noob or any of its counterparts.
Don't Act like you know everything or ask for free items/money.
Don't TALK IN CAPS! just cause you THINK it's important, doesn't make it so.
Tell people what to do.
Beg for a PL (Power Level).
Refuse to take advise from more experienced players.
Refuse to go to information sites about the game.
Be Grammar police, we play a game, we're not writing a novel.
We have all dealt with the above, and I'm sure we all agree that it just needs to stop.
When talking in a Teamspeak/Ventrilo, make sure your microphone is working properly before you talk.
