The developers over at NFSW have just announced a big community event this weekend. Starting on June 15th the entire NFSW community needs to run at least 700,000 Team Escape challenges, and if successful we will all receive a free game code for a prize.

Here are the details as posted on the Need For Speed pages:

When does the Team Escape Challenge begin / end (challenge period)?
Starts: 9:00am PDT Friday, June 15th
Ends: 11:50pm PDT, Sunday, June 17th

What can I win?
If the community completes more than 700,000 Team Escape events within the challenge period we will release a universal code that will hook all NFS World players up with a cool prize.

Logged on Need for Speed World today to cruise the new regions that were recently added into the game. Not only that, a chance to cruise the whole world and to see other players reckless drive around the city. I would like to say that there are moments where players slam into other vehicles, which fly and hit my vehicle. I didn't get annoyed or anything, I thought it was quite fun, considering that it was just a fun cruise.

I also log on to Ray City SEA and entered a channel full of players. Considering that you can jump and all that unrealistic stuff that game does, I was trying them out and annoying other players like jumping on top on their vehicles or slamming into them in various and unrealistic way. I was I just hope no one gets banned for doing that because I think it's funny. It

It’s been a year since they have a major updates such as this and from what I have experience…. I’m having a blast! CTRacer has its pros and cons that we will be discussing later on. One thing I’m sure of is that they made a great deal of effort on improving their game. Many have criticized this game for being old and outdated, but the simplicity of the game and with their new client it is worth your time to try the game and stay for the fun of it.

When I was scribbling around MMOsite checking out games that I know, I stumbled upon CTRacer, and yes, I used to play this boring game, but when it was in its first stages, it was fun!! Lots of players, lots of things to do, but when they officially released the game, it became sleepville, yes....everything was outrageuosly boring....this game was called "The Cure for Insomnia" . Go online, do some laps, and your sleepy. Cool huh?

Even the GUI is boring....so simple...even writing this part of  this article makes me sleepy....but I got to move on and finish the job...just like CTRacer did.

My Top 5 Racing Games

I've played many different games and recently I've been playing Blur and thought that i should make a top 5 racing game list.
Now before anyone starts disagreeing on these decisions and saying how it's horrible. I'm a player who doesn't like realistic games much. Games such as Gran Turismo and Need for Speed aren't my thing. Also this is my opinion and if you disagree that's fine, but don't start a flame war.

      While we are very pleased with the performance of the game and are excited about the response from the players, we are committed to delivering a high-quality experience. We feel that more time is needed to deliver on this commitment.

       Earlier this week we were sure we were on track for the upcoming commercial launch date, had advertising purchased for it, shifts scheduled, etc smiles all around and then the flood of player's feedback and comments during our first week's operation analysis showed us that no, we're not ready. We need to fix some late-breaking bugs, and as much as we hated to do it, we need to delay the launch date and restart our server database.

       We will be wiping out all account information of all players again before we go to commercial phase. This is to remove all the advantages acquired by game hackers and violators. We are hoping for everyone to understand this issue we have right now. Because of this, we assure everyone that the game will be TOTALLY better and will be more secured against 3rd party programs on our re-launch.

The highly anticipated CTRacer Open beta is almost here! Game Networks Inc will finally open their road for the open beta test in 2 days!  The CTracer servers will become open for playing on August 21 2009 at around 800 GMT+ 9.

Tales Runner is not an MMORPG. It is an MMO Racing game. There aren’t a lot of quality games in this genre and I feel that Tales Runner will do extremely well because of its unique gameplay and features. It is a racing game but it also has many of the elements of an RPG. There is a leveling system, a town where players can socialize, as well as an alchemy system that players can use to craft items to help improve their stats. This is not even to mention the scores of items and outfits that each character has access to.

There are multiple game modes; basic races, relay races, 30 player survival races and even a single player mode. For the more social users there is a town in which players can interact, show off their gear, create a family (guild) or become a “couple” with someone else.



Tales Runner has it's own currency known as TR which you receive a certain amount every time you participate in a race (better racing position, better TR you get) or from a minigame. With TR you can buy several Shirts/Pants/A
