It's Monday and we've just finished with Beta Weekend Event 2 of Guild Wars 2. The beta weekends, for me are a chance to get a look at the competitive scene before it even begins. The first weekend was me exploring game mechanics, W3 and the guild system. This week, it was about me and pushing forward the team. We explored lots of poss

The Closed Beta Phase of Genghis Khan ended last December 5, 2011. Hundreds of players amassed within the 4 Kingdoms with the goal of being titled as the Supreme Ruler. Others who formed a guild took up arms as they fought the others in the battle of supremacy. 

During the early days of the CBT, players flocked to the quest areas and PVP Arena with the goal of winning the events prepared by the Game Masters. These quests are:

1.Legendary King –Players who will be the FIRST kings in each of the kingdoms during the CBT Period.

2.Top Ranked – In each kingdom, the highest level player in each class will be given recognition and prizes (48 winners in total)

3.Brainiacs – The best player who can answer the trivia questions quickly and correctly.

4.Ironman – Where players

 Well Digimon Master's Online is having it's open beta test begin on the 27th, just a few days from now.  I have been a fan of Digimon since the first TV series came out in america, when I was around 6, so I am really looking forward to this game.  From what I have seen in the past, the Digimon iteration have been pretty good, although for the most part they were quite repetitive; this game looks to be a standard pet based MMO, but the license could easily be enough to sell it for me.  With this game promising over 1000 characters from the shows, which I take to mean Digimon and some of the tamers, I can atleast say that they have a lot of content, I only hope that they alter the game later on to allow for customization of the Digimon and your Tamer, or else being in the world with a bunch of identical people could kind of ruin the immersion factor.  My other main concern is that there will be 4 or 5 super powerful Digimon with the rest being crap, which woul

Really thought it was the end when Game Networks dropped NeoSteam without a trace, and couldn't believe it when I heard that ATLUS, of all publishers, was taking it up. Atlus is probably most famous for their Shin Megami Tensei series, which is extremely popular in Japan and amongst j-rpg fans of the states. Atlus brings the same quality to NeoSteam with a completely reworked localization and more lenient leveling curve. They've hosted many pre-launch contests (Including a raffle for a hand-made costume piece of a pair of goggles from the game) and the administrators actually talk to the players on the forums which helps keep players hopeful and enthusiastic for launch.
