Greetings Rohanians!

We have a special Saint Patrick's Day art contest in which you will have to use your creativity to add decorations to the designated screenshots! In this event you will only be allowed to use Paint to decorate and Photoshop if you would like to do small details or add a few things not found in the screenshot! (Photoshop editing not required). If you are to use Photoshop please keep the image true to the world of Rohan and it MUST be just a decorated version of the templates provided! The possibilities are endless!!

The Christmas season is here for 2012! Come to the Fishing Hole / Crafting Studio to celebrate!

How it works:

1) During maintenance on 12/17, all players will be given a Winter Box. You can find this in your Event Inventory.
2) You can use this item ONCE every 3hrs for a chance at a Winter Voucher or a 1hr accessory with awesome stats!
3) Speak with the following NPCs on the following dates to continue the Christmas Quest!

12/17-12/23 NPC: Senny
12/24-12/30 NPC: Jinny
12/31-1/7 NPC: Oil
4) The NPCs will all have different quests with different requirements for you.
5) Once you complete all three quests you will receive a full Santa Costume Set which will be removed on maintenance on 1/29.

I’m the type of gamer who cares little about a game’s graphics and cares more about the game play.

Recently, I stumbled upon this 10 year old game whose developers and publishers I applaud for daring to re-release it on this day and age. The game is called Metin, it’s a Diablo II-ish 2D MMORPG that was only able to get an English translation 10 years after. (My guess is that it took them exactly that long to learn the language.. Kidding)

By Diablo II-ish I mean that it is a dark fantasy and horror themed MMORPG that features a hack and slash style of combat. It is the exact type of MMORPG that would have made it big 10 years ago and it was.. in Korea.

The game allows players to take on the role of sents, elves and dwarves in the “immersive” continent of Naiphan where they must “grind” their way into eventually defeating the evil Megra who will later be revealed as the source of the seven Metin stones that caused fear and destruction on the dwellers of the said continent.

I work in the free mmo business so naturally I like to check out what other companies are up to.  While I was doing this I stumbled upon Titan Online.  And when I say 'stumbled' I mean it, I was trying to find Rohan information and suddenly the Titan Online official website had loaded on my screen.  I still have no clue how. 

Reguardless, I decided to check it out.  I noticed it had just gone into Open Beta.  From the website I learned that there is no job system, characters are completely customizable with skills and stat points.  From the screenshots the graphics didn't seem amazing, but the customization aspect had piqued my interest enough for me to download it.  The download was about 700mb, nothing like the 1.8gb for Rohan that I have failed SIX times trying to fully download (and still have not been successful).  It took a little bit (30 minutes with 90kb/s average I believe) but was easy to get up and running.

The character creation isn't amazing, you can pick from a few different faces and skin colors.  The hair styles all come with their own color so unfortunately you don't get to choose that.&

Yes, thats right! A new MMO for Adults!! I'm sure you all know about this game already, but Age of Conan is getting real close to it's release date. And to be truthful...I'm very excited! I'm sure you can already tell this because of the many "!" that you've seen already, well get ready for more!!! Now I don't usually get that excited over new MMOs due to the fact that they come out monthly, maybe even weekly, nowadays. And not to put these games down or say that they're bad, I just don't see any reason to play them over any other game. Ok, back to the topic at hand, AoC is gonna the first "M" rated MMO to be released (as far as I know anyway) and on top of the blood and nudity aspect, it is built on "Next-Gen" technology. DirectX10 that is, which I doesn't mean much to most, but for those who say " Vista is unstable, blah blah blah", I say this: I've have been running Vista Home Basic x64 for 13 months now. I have changed my computer Completely! twice since I installed it. To be more specific 2 Motherboards (Asus K8, MSI K9A2), from 4 x1gb ram sticks to 2 x2gb and 1 x 1gb stick, 3 GPUs (Geforce 7600, 8600, and Radeon 3870). The onl
