Scarlet Blade: A pleasant surprise
I have been playing Scarlet Blade, and I got to admit: IT IS AWESOME!
I feel really terrible now, because I gave my friends who play Scarlet Blade a hard time: They said it was good and I refused to believe them and then one night a group of us partied up and decided to give it a go and it was actually quite good.
Now, I did the same as you, and probably the same as many others: I saw the homepage, cringed, and moved on. Aeriagames is relying heavily on it being a “mature game”, I disagree: Why would you attempt to ruin a great game with a gender lock and a lack of clothing?
I didn’t get to review all the features that the game has to offer, I got told by my friends that all the good content comes after level 20. (Levelcap during this beta is level 29). If that’s true, I’ll definitely play it more, because I’m already impressed by the game. So let’s talk about the game!
Scarlet Blade offers 6 classes: Defender, Medic, Punisher, Sentinel,

After the whole fiasco with with Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, it is really no surprise they went straight for the juggler on Skyrim and started off with a Mature rating. All reasons sited were as follows: Intense blood and gore, alcoholic content, and sexual themes. The full holy trinity of the ESRB.
If you didn't know what happened with the previous Edler Scrolls title, basically someone developed a mod to make all the women topless in the game. Once this occured the ESRB swiftly changed Oblivion from Teen to Mature. Note that this topless mod, was infact a third party mod. The whole ordeal was basically the ESRB making Mario mature because some fans released a popular mod that made Princess Peach into a porn star.
The ESRB came under fire for their actions, but all of it eventually got swept

[Via VG247] While speaking at develop regarding thatgamecompany’s flow and Flower, Jenova Chen told attendees that games need more mature content by way of emotional engagement, not necessarily violence. Otherwise titles become nothing more than “toys”.
“I never see that sense of thrill any more in today’s games,” he said. “Yes, today’s games are more real and satisfying but the underlining mechanics are no different from toys. But the human brain likes information – it’s like a sponge that sucks up information and wants more all the time.
“Other pursuits are enjoyed by adults and not viewed as toys. As grown up gamer I don’t want to see the games I have been playing with love turn into toys. I think games need to have more mature content – but not like [Dead of Alive] or [Manhunt], but more sophisticated works.
“Games should make the player think and touch the gamer’s emotion. Gameplay needs to be like any other medium – it has to evoke all kinds of responses. Otherwise our industry will flatline. “It shouldn’t be about one feeling – like excitement or happiness. Humans h

Okay, I am just bored enough to shoot this post, I know clearly this article would probably cause a strong repulsion but it's really fun, I mean, mabinogi is such a lifestyle MMORPG, players in this game have gift to amuse themselves even in this adult way. I believe this kind of thing happens in every MMORPG, mabinogi is just the best example, at least in my opinion, lol.
My advice for those who may animadvert on these images is ... take it easy and have fun!
This one is not that pornographic, she was flirting with NPC Walter
Flirting again...Walter such a mean geezer! He laughed!
She started to squat down and .... wait! was she holding something?!

To be honest, I prepared a lot of funny screenshots of mabinogi (including this kind of stuff as well) but it's better to stop here now , lol. Any comment is welcomed.

As the title states, this is about the new mmorpg set to be released May 20, 2008. This game was origonally set to be released in April and was delayed due to the devs thinking the game wasnt finished enough. Now I must say that I have been anticipating this game for some time now and am seriously ready for it to be released. I have had it on preorder now for around a month (got my mom to buy it for my birthday, which is May 19, 1 day before release), my main reason for the preorder, other than the fact that I really want this game, is for the special siege mount you get for preordering.
Age of Conan is set to be the first "Mature" rated mmo to be released to date. The rating is due to heavy gore and blood and the nudity that exists throughout the game and cinematics. I believe this is a great thing for our genre due to the more kiddy games that I've seen as of late. Like WoW, Flyff, Maplestory, and Pirates of the Caribean which was actually released by Disney. Even SOE (who run games like Star Wars, Matrix, and Vanguard) even has a child-like game coming out called Free Realms. I think that this has the chance to change the whole mmo world and actually give us a
