So I am not one to be a fan of Apple products, in my opinion it is just overpriced outdated tech that is marketed to be "cool". While their OS is good for filmography and audio tech, it appeals to me as much as catching the plague. But what does interest me is RPG games, and a classic is going to hit the iPad. You already guessed it from the title of the article, so yea, it is Baldur's Gate.
It has been confirmed that this classic RPG will be hitting iPads as well as PC this summer. If you haven't heard about Baldur's Gate: Enhanced edition, well it is a remake of the original to bring it a more updated look and attract fans anew. They will be remaking both the first and second games which will include all of the expansions that the origin

Conquer Online coming to the iPad
By: Zevri in Conquer Onlineposted at 3:57 pm Sep 30,2011 - 2
I am sure many of you have heard of Conquer Online, the game has been around for years, and still has a decent sized fan base, with constant updates. But did you know this tidbit of information, that Conquer Online is making its way to the iPad. Staying true to their core game, this will also be free-to-play as well, for those of you interested in it.
Now, I don’t own an iPad, I am also not a fan of Mac or their products. Why, you may ask? Well in as few words as possible is that they’re overpriced and not as flexible as other hardware. (No external storage slots? No thank you) But what does excite me is mmos making their way to tablet pcs. Which I mean, it’s entirely surprising being that they already have been on mobiles for years now. But the interactivity and big

Six Shooter Games was formed after Ignition Entertainment Florida closed in November 2010. The founders opened their first office in June 2011, bringing in other ex-Ignition developers to work on two separate projects. Their debut game, Sprocket Junkie, is scheduled for release this fall on iPhone and iPad. The company has launched a Kickstarter project here to obtain funding and develop interest in Sprocket Junkie.
Sprocket Junkie is an intense action racing game for iOS devices (e.g. iPhone, iPod Touch 4). It is a “spiritual successor” to the 1996 PC game Rocket Jockey.
In Sprocket Junkie, Players battle riding atop giant rocket engines, using grapple hooks to take down opponents and make hairpin turns. Players choose from many characters, customizable engines and accessories

Play an MMO or Buy an iPad; that is No Longer a Question

If you're like me, you have heard enough about the iPad. However, the thought of owning one is a bit tempting, but are you willing to make that type of financial commitment? Well now you don't have to. Outspark announced Closed Beta 2 for the new MMO Action/RPG, Erebus: Travia Reborn and it is officially live. I know this has nothing to do with an iPad but wait...if you participate in this Closed Beta you can be entered to win an iPod Touch. It doesn't end there, reach level 50 by the time Closed Beta ends, and you could possibly win an iPad. Eight runners-up will receive the Collector's Edition pack. There are more prizes for players who participated in the first Closed Beta.
This makes me a bit curious about the game. Why is Outspark bribing players to participate? At least they have a competitive prize. I guess you can look at this opportunity as a 2-in-1, not only do you get to try out this new game but you can win an iPad. What a deal. So hea

Could We Use iPad To Play MMOGs One Day In the Future?

The iPod Touch and iPhone, defying many disbelievers, have, as a collective platform, succeeded in transforming gaming as much as they have transformed the smartphone industry. Low prices and a massive App Store library, it can be argued, helped the iPhone and iPod Touch out more than the platform's often better-than-expected graphics. We expected Apple gaming to take off, and indeed it has--in the portable space, at least.
The new Apple iPad hopes to take gaming even further, but the hurdles are higher this time. Everyone doesn't need a tablet, which is a significant challenge to iPad adoption. Millions of iPhone/Touch game players proliferated because millions of people need portable media players or phones, and found that it was easy and cheap to game on the same device they had in their pocket already. On the other hand, at $499, a 16GB iPad will have the same storage capacity as a PSP Go, which costs $249. Though the iPad lacks a memory card slot, its screen and battery life look
