Last week I was invited up with a select number of press to get the chance to spend some unadulterated time with Square Enix's magnum opus, Final Fantasy XIV. Going into this I already knew I was impressed with the game, having had a short stint playing in a structured multiplayer setting back at E3, but last week was the first time I got the opportunity to play what I wanted, where I wanted, for as long as they would let me.
