SD Gundam Capsule Fighter (SDGO) is a MMOTPS developed by Softmax that allows players to take control of several mobile suits from all the universes present in the different Gundam series. The game includes both player versus player and cooperative missions. Up to twelve players can take part in a single PvP room and up to four players can participate in a cooperative mission. There are several game modes available for PvP, including classic game modes such as free for all (called 'single' in the game) or a limited lives mode (called 'death match' in the game). Missions can be played in five different difficulties: very easy, easy, normal, hard and expert and there are specific missions being released with each patch that cover a certain event (or seri

SD Gundam Capsule Fighter Online Review
By: Zanpakutou in SD Gundam Capsule Fighterposted at 6:28 pm Dec 02,2011 - 1
SD Gundam Capsule Fighter is an instance based arcade style MMO based on the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise. The looks of the game reminds me of a brighter and more light hearted version of MS Saga: A New Dawn. I am quite a big fan of the Gundam series. My favorite is Gundam 08th MS Team. Keep in mind that this is based on the OG Planet version. That means there are no mobile suits above the A rank or any changes from the Chinese or any more updated version.
Story:N/A - Tutorial doesn't count. Just get going. Gameplay:The only thing you do at first is name your character before you are thrown into the tutorial. It gives you some basic instructions, but it is slow and feels tedious because you cannot skip the dialogue. You can however, exit the whole tutorial and just play through the other tutorial stages as quests that reward you with some nice starting mobile suits (referred to as MS from this point on). The game allows you to create rooms and select a mission wit-

In Otakon the wonders of cosplay play a big part of what you can do. People come from all over to show off their cosplay designing skills and some people bring their extreme A game. From Gundam to Transformers and giant detailed props that cause the mind to wonder. The creativity of these fans is truly inspiring and I thank each of them for allowing me to capture them here.

Say Yes I do Under The Real Gundam
By: Hyuk in defaultposted at 3:11 am Aug 28,2009 - 0
Within months we have heard a lot of news about Real Gundam. Here we've got a Gundam wedding ceremony. Let's check it out.

Heres comes the bride. And the giant mecha.
Earlier this week, Japanese wedding planner T&G planned wedding ceremony for one lucky couple, selected from 548 entries last month.
The two were married previously and stated that the Gundam series had been a tremendous influence in their lives. They even named they're new baby girl after Gundam character Seira. The groom is even dressed as Ray Amuro!

The Director of the Gundam also put in an appearance to give the happy couple a special gift.
A 18-meter-tall (59-foot-tall) RX-78 was erected to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the mecha anime/manga/toy/video game franchise.
It is part of the "Mobile Suit Gundam 30th Anniversary Project," and the temporary structure in Odaiba's Shiokaze Park was built from fiberglass-reinforced plastic over a steel frame and coated in a layer of awesomeness

Fifty points on the Gundam statue emit light, and mist shoot out of 14 different points on the statue. The 1/1 scale Gundam boasts a movable head and a continuous stream of oh-man-this-is-so-damn-cool. [kotaku

Mother Threw Gundam, Son Set Her House On Fire
By: Hyuk in defaultposted at 1:05 am Aug 11,2009 - 0
Here comes a sad news over Gundam, maybe you've already know how crazy Japanese otaku go for Gundam stuff, but can you imagine a son burns down mother's house just because she threw away all son's Gundam collection? It surely cross the line.
A man has burnt down his home after his mother threw out his Gundam collection, lamenting “I’ve lost my precious Gundam, I may as well die.”
The man, a 29-year-old factory worker and Gundam collector in Hyogo prefecture, who needless to say lived in his mother’s house, became so distraught at the loss of his collection at the hands of his mother that felt his only recourse was fire.
He doused his room in kerosene and ignited it with a lighter, causing a conflagration which swiftly burnt the two storey wooden house to the ground.
Apparently not quite ready to die along with his Gundam, he fled the house and escaped without injury.
His mother (55), who was in the building as her son burnt it down, also escaped. He explained what happened thus: “My precious Gundam plamo were all thrown out by my mother; I thought I’d die too.” He has been arrested on charges of arson

Wow, Real Gundam Close Shot
By: Hyuk in defaultposted at 3:33 am Jul 13,2009 - 4
If you don't know the real Gundam thing, I bet you live in the outer space! :P Well since the gigantic robot opened to the public, people can get closer to it, as a result a flood of additional photographs and videos has appeared, with a variety of interesting closeups and low-angle shots. Let's check them out.

Sorry I only uploaded the thumbnail snapshots, for your good, check the original website to see fullsize and more. Anyway I heard at any rate the real gundam will be removed after the 30 years anniversary, hope I can make a travel to Tokyo before its close down , as I'm saving money on that now.

Japan's .Anime Sells Gundam 00 Set with Uniform Jacket

Bandai Visual's Japanese .Anime retail site has announced a limited Mobile Suit Gundam 00 set with "all the DVD volumes and a Celestial Being jacket." The announcement of the 49,980-yen (about US$457), seven-DVD set indirectly reveals that the first Gundam 00 television run will have 26 episodes (two episodes in the first DVD and four episodes in the remaining six DVDs) and that the first run will be released as a self-contained series and not just a season.
I don't like this jacket very much. Maybe I perfer Gundam-themed T-shirt. Jacket looks so strange. I bought a KAT-TUN concert Tshirt 2 years ago, but I still like it very much.
