I've had a lot of time to think about our last conversation, particularly since you ended it by ramming a keyboard through my monitor. I have noticed something in MMOSite. There is a topic that is rather popular, but yet, it has nothing related to MMOs. Or games.

Yup, it is the topic on love, and girl friends.

Curious, I went through them, and they do range the gamut of topics! From a fustrated man seeking revenge on the general female sex, to a lonely man having an imaginary girl friend, to even, a list of traits a guy would like!

Being single might be boring for some and could lead to frustration. This man in Osaka was so frustrated that he went onto the streets and randomly slashed a female passerby on  Thursday night, and was subsequently arrested by the police.

According to police, Akihito Naito was quoted saying:

“I can’t get a girlfriend because women always turn me down. I thought this would make me feel better. I didn’t target any specific woman. Anyone would have been OK.”

Naito reportedly approached the woman, who was chatting with a co-worker, on his bike and cut her from behind. He then threw away his bike and ran away, but was caught by two passersby about 50 meters away. A box cutter was found nearby.

That is really one heck of a weird man … no wonder he can’t get any girlfriend. He should be thankful he didn’t run into Shiki, otherwise he would turn into minced meat.

A study conducted by Singapore’s National Institute of Education reveals that its youth rack up an average of 27 hours a week playing videogames.

The group has polled over 3,000 students during the course of the three-year study, which The Straits Times reports is still ongoing. Lui Tuck Yew, acting Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts was reportedly “quite surprised and a little bit shocked” at the number of hours spent gaming.

Lawrence Lee, a 16-year old World of Warcraft player, called four hours of gaming a day “nothing,” and compared the game to fledgling love:

Before I even begin this article, I would like to point out a few of my personal opinions. I believe that the internet is the Pillar of Anonymity. Not only to do you NOT have to be yourself online, but you have the option now and days to be just about anything you want. If you’re a closet racist looking to spew mindless dribble on the latest presidential election or if you simply wish to live in a fantasy land of warriors and monsters, the internet offers all of these things and more for usually a low price of a PC and a decent connection speed. I wrote an article earlier expressing my opinion on how I feel it’s wrong that MMORPG’s often force friendships in order to progress for the common good of your online experience. While some of you agreed, others stated that it was rather pointless to go onto an MMO without the want to meet other people in a social setting. Ok, recently in fiesta i was creating my second character a cleric ....... A FEMALE CLERIC !!!!!! i mean whats wrong with that ? The guys look like complete idoits! anyway back to the story!
well i partied this male cleric called cloud or sum generic name like that and the next thing i know hes giving me his gold any extra potions/equips he had and soon after he asked me out xD of course i wasnt sad enough to say yes but i just had to imagine the riches that i could obtain!!Iit was a tempting offer ~_0 .So i started to think "am I puttin myself at a disadvantage by choosing a male character ????" because i have never choosen a female in a mmorpg so i just wanted to kno if any of u guys have had this experience (especialy the REAL girls ) comment please
