Flying PvP is a bad enough concept, and NCSoft fails to dissapoint, with their terrible implementation of it!

 

Not only is the games netcode so horrible that you pretty much can't keep up with someone who is moving while flying, they'll randomly warp 50 feet! If you're melee and a ranged starts flying with you on them, you might as well give up right there because you're never going to catch them.  Hell, I do more damage AUTOATTACKING PEOPLE WITH MY BOW while chasing them than I do trying to hit them with my actual abilities.

In their wisdom, NCSoft decided that snares do not belong in Aion.  They decided that all the best stuns should be not usable on air targets.  They decided that the speed boosts your class is balanced around should not work while flying. Who likes Wings eh? I reallly don't know, but to tell you the truth..they DO help! Here's some bullets of how flying mounts or wings can help you in pretty much all of your MMORG Games.

Help you block monsters that are not in the airThey can go a lot faster than runningIts pretty much good to be in the skyIts awesome viewsWhen you need to flee an animal its good to flyIt is much faster when you flee an animal to fly than to runFlying mounts can really add to your personality

Aion Review: New Generation of MMO or Same Old Grind?

 

I really expected this game to be the next generation of MMO. I probably helped contribute to this so called "Aion hype fanbase", but after playing this game i realized it was not  the groundbreaking, revolutionary thing that would be the "next generation of MMO", but instead it was the same old mechanics of every other post-WOW mmo out there. It does sets the bar for a higher for the quality games and offers a unique enviroment and beautiful graphics.

Revolutionary Graphics never seen before

The graphics of the game are without a doubt what makes it the most visual appealing mmo out there. There has never been such a high standard of detail in mmos shown like this and which probably makes it the most graphically demanding mmo in history.

Just looking at the characters,scenic backgrounds and water reflection makes people go "woah **** thats amazing" Heck it even amazes me. I remember people use to say things like "mmos aren't graphically demanding" or "pssh

once i want to be a fish soaring in the blue blue sea. Time flies! one day i suddenly find that the ice in the pole is so beautiful and ever-lasting. Then to be a icefish having the ability to fly in the icy crystal becomes my dream in the CQ's summer. Flying, just to touch the sky and bottom. the icefish-flying!!!

Ah, the first time I flew... It was about a year ago when I quit Runescape for Flyff, I'm pretty glad I did it. One of my friends on Runescape said 'Hey, have you ever heard of that game, Flyff?' Well he got me curious, so I looked it up, and eventually joined and made a char.. Now it took me a month or so to actually get to 20. ^^ (But hey I was new and no one helped me out) So, I went and explored around till I found a dude that sold brooms, in Flaris. I bought a really cheap one, and boy I thought it was cool. But I had one problem: How did I get on it? Well I asked around and someone said that I just double click it, so I did. I was amazed! But then I realized I didn't know how to fly it. o_o So I messed around and eventually hit a button and ZOOM off I went.. But I didn't know how to stop! I got pretty scared when I didn't know how to turn. Or stop. o_o So I ran into a few walls, and mountains, and I thought the monsters would be able to get me! I flew above people yelling: HELP HOW DO I STOP?! So I was stuck flying forever. Eventually I found the space bar. :D Then I figured out that the buttons I used to walk could be used in flying. ^^ These days I like to g
