This is going into my new category of Guides since its the first I felt I should mention it :P.

Now before anything is read I just want to mention these builds are simply for fun or ridiculousness I don't know its viability/usefulness since every time I've tried it its either complete success or doomed failure or the masses come flaming. I don't think anyone would actually build this since I haven't seen any of it in game other than from myself but I do remember in the DotA 1 days some friends laughed pretty hard when it was achieved. Apart from that I still do it in DotA2 and works very much the same (Yeay to Valve for literally keeping what they said, "The game mechanics will not change and be very familiar to that of DotA 1")

Rooftrellen – The treant protector is finally here! If you’re like me, you’ve been waiting for this for a while and I’m pretty damn excited. Along with a great new hero comes an abundance of great game changes to make the game smoother and easier to understand. Bots have been changed, skills have been fixed and items and characters that run out now have an exp bar that slowly decreases to show how long they’re left on the map!

I think it’s definitely interesting Valve has added Rooftrellen to the champion pool this early as in Dota 1 he is a pretty powerful champion that has been nerfed so many times so it will be interested to see how he fairs in Dota 2 and what stats and numbers they give to his skills to balance him, or if they’ll leave him to dominate.

He’s a strength hero who makes a pretty great support/ganker. He’s an old favourite of mine and I can’t wait to see how he plays, here are the full patch notes.

Probably all of you played or at least heard the title "DoTA"(Defense of the Ancients) - a very popular custom mod for Warcraft III, based on the "Aeon of Strife" map for StarCraft.
Well... there's new one coming soon! Its not DoTA 2 and its not even developed by IceFrog (Valve).

"Asians" decided to create a new MMO called "DoTA" (Dark of Three AncientKingdoms online)...

Dark of Three AncientKingdoms looks pretty much exactly as the original DoTA and the combat system is the same - well, there is one feature that is "unique" to original DoTA, 10vs10 which makes it interesting + there are about 90 heroes!
Its only a matter of time till Blizzard or Valve will take them to court - but will they win?

Dota has to be one of the best, and reputable games in the world right now, combining skill, teamplay, competitiveness, in a brisk one hour match.

Although not very " noob " friendly game, I would recommend anyone in the MMO genre to atleast familiarize themselves with Dota, and strangely enough, many in the MMO genre already play Dota, unlike the following of FPS and RTS, it seems that MMO players have a greater bond towards Dota.

In times of boredom from MMO's, my usual escape from reality leads to an escape of and escape; Dota. As awkward as it is, I have yet to really bore myself in Dota, something about the way the game was made, the players, and the shittalking just mangles together into something great.
