Yesterday Dungeons & Dragons Online celebrated its Fifth Anniversary, and suddenly I'm feeling very, very old. That means that when DDO first ran its open beta test and I was running around falling into traps and spending my days healing in the local tavern, I hadn't even started writing about games yet. In five years the game has come a long way, and even seen a complete revamp into a free to play MMO. Five years is also a really long stretch for MMO survival these days. With games falling along the wayside, the last decade was more of an online game graveyard than it should have been.
To celebrate their survival of the first five years, DDO hosted a Pirate Shindig, and gave all existing players free pirate booty (pun intended). While I wasn't able to l

Least Dragonmarks grant a (passive) +2 bonus on a single associated skill and the ability to use a single spell-like ability three times per day. When this feat is purchased, a dragonmark will appear on the player’s skin (the mark can be removed from your character’s face by unchecking the relevant box in the Options Menu). The caster level for your dragonmark is equal to your character level, and the saving throw DC is 10 + the level of the spell + your Charisma modifier. Once a least dragonmark is chosen, a player can no longer purchase any other least dragonmarks. The player must unlock the ability to purchase a dragonmark, but once unlocked, any character of any race (except Drow or Warforged) on that account of any level can purchase a dragonmark.
Lesser Dragonmarks can only be purchased if the player already has a Least Dragonmark and is at least 6 th level. This bestows a second spell-like ability twice per day and gives you one extra use/day of your Least Dragonmark.
Greater Dragonmarks can only be purchased if the player already has a Lesser Dragonmark and is at lest 9 th level. This bestows a third spell-like ability once per day and gives you one extra use/day

A common misconception is that Hide & Seek is a child’s game. In actuality, Hide & Seek originated as a training method in the Halfling tribes in the Talenta Plains. One warrior would hide while others would hunt for them in a test designed to hone skills, sharpen senses, and make everyone who participated a better hunter.
Recently the Coin Lords summoned Sir Lawrence and lamented the fact that many of the new heroes arriving in Stormreach have lost much of their training since the Last War ended. To help keep the new heroes’ skills properly honed, Sir Lawrence has decided to bring back the old Halfling training game to Stormreach! Sir Lawrence will use a teleport stone to travel to any public location available to the citizens of Stormreach. Work as a team or on your own - if you find him, you (and your team) will receive a Scepter of Siberys!
Look for +Sir Lawrence in any public location of Stormreach: Zawabis Refuge, Gianthold, the Necropolis - no public location or building is off limits! +Sir Lawrence will hide many times during his visit to your server. The first person or team to find him in each location will receive the Scepter of Siberys which grants a +
