I'll start by saying that I've played the other 2 main name Hero MMOs : City of Heroes/Villians , and Champions Online . After playing this one
, they all almost match up in a scale .

City of Heroes was taking the PC MMO formula and applying it to super heroes . It felt pretty good too ! I loved running the streets and
see a random mugging happening just so i could kick the burgler in the left cheek and be praised for it . It played like they ripped the core
WoW controls and i could live with it .

Champions Online was an upgrade visually , and though not really related , it tried to lend itself to more action controls . The biggest
claim to this was letting you plug in a controller ( which i found awkward at 1st ) . Attacking was all about hitting number keys and its weird
doing that

It was 1959 when the Flash met one of his most powerful villains and a regular staple to his rogues gallery, Gorilla Grodd. DC Universe Online reveals Gorilla Grodd as one of the villains heroes will be taking on in their adventures. With Grodd’s telekinetic powers I am sure we’ll see good use of the PHSYX system power DCUO. This hyper-intelligent and telepathic gorilla has been causing havoc for the heroes of the DC Universe since explorers found his home in Africa and he manipulated them to kill its original leader. Some of his original history has been retconned as the DC Universe has evolved since 1959 but his abilities and motivate have always been the same. Gorilla’s on their own are extremely strong creatures, but add to that hyper-intellect and mental abilities th

When someone asks you who you expect to see in DC Universe Online, I’m sure the majority answer is somewhere between Superman and Batman. The latest screen shots and behind the scenes artwork from SOE remind us that women can kick butt too. From the looks of things it appears they can do it rather well. In 1941 the super heroine Wonder Woman appear in All Star Comics and now she is ready to fight the good fight alongside you. For a 79 year old, she doesn’t look to bad either.

Wonder Woman adds to the continued roster of Iconic Characters you will be fighting side-by-side with in your battle to stop Luther’s future world from coming to pass. From her Lasso of Truth and Bullet Proof Bracers, this is one Amazon you don’t want to mess with. Add to that super streng

Baltimore Comic-Con was back this year in Charm City and there was no shortage of ingenuity in costumes. While not the visual cosplay buffet of Otakon it was still just as rewarding. Without further ado I give you a small glimpse of the colorful collection of characters in attendence.

"Exclusive deal with Sony Last year during E3 2007, Sony revealed that they had entered into an exclusive deal with NCsoft to produce new titles exclusively for the PlayStation 3. This contract included titles from both existing intellectual properties owned by NCsoft as well as new IPs. With Blade & Soul being one of the first new titles announced from NCsoft since Aion: Tower of Eternity, many gamers speculated Blade & Soul to be a PlayStation 3 game. However, in an interview, the production director claimed that the game is PC exclusive at the moment[3]." sources: Wikipedia IGN Ng4 gamespot I personaly think its going to be a buy to play business models. I know its a downer but if its actualy is true then this game might last for genneration and since the ps3 cost is droping it migh be the stadegy that sony is tying to do: "the ps3 is ment to be the winner in the long run" said on of one of sony employees at a interview Also i do belive if its p2p people will be more willing to use the playstation store. So anyway its is possible to and probable that the ps3 is design for mmo and large multiplayer games. The reason I say that is they have huge muitplayer g

SOE Austin’s VP of Development John Blakely gave an interview to WarCry on the new DC Comics MMO in development. The game will use the Unreal engine and is in production for the PC and PS3. Best of all, comic book artist Jim Lee has been procured as Executive Creative Director.

Blakely talks about what it will take to rise above the competition from Cryptic’s Marvel Universe. He also describes how experience gained from the successes and failures from Star Wars Galaxies and EverQuest are applied to create a game that SOE hopes will win them the  battle of the Super MMOs.
