I'm sure some of you probably know that I've been anxiously waiting for this game's release. And true enough, its launch didn't disappoint. I'm talking about Mythos Global.

I also made a beginner's guide about the game so you could check it out here: http://forum.mmosite.com/thread/2/3/20120205/Mythos_Global_Beginner_Guide-4f2f7c451d578c113-1.html

As usual, let us start with the character creation. This game offers four playable races and three different classes. The four races are Cyclops, Human, Satyr, and Gremlin, each with corresponding stat points. The Cyclops, for example, have higher Strength but lower Wisdom. The three classes are the Bloodletter, Gadgeteer, and Pyromancer, which represent the Melee, Ranged, and Magic trinity. Since classes are not Race-locked, you can

Here is another commentary about an MMORPG that is unlike any other. I’m talking about Atlantica Online. Atlantica is a strategic, turn-based MMORPG that is being published by Nexon. Yup. You heard it right. There is such a thing as a turn-based MMORPG.

Now if you’re not a fan of this kind of battle system, I suppose you may opt to try one of the other hundreds of MMOs out there. But if you are one of the classic RPG fans like Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, and many others, I will really recommend this game.

As we go to the character creation screen, a bunch of different weapons will be available. The weapon that you choose will determine the “class” of your character. As seen in the screenshot below, there are currently a total of nine weapons to choose f

Hi everyone! This is my first attempt to write a blog entry. Most of my entries will most likely be reviews, commentaries, guides, and other feature articles about the games that I’ve played or currently playing.

Perhaps one good way to start things out is to discuss a game that is very popular right now. Yup, as the title says, it’s about Dragon Nest.

Dragon Nest, or DN, is an action RPG that was very well anticipated ever since its CBT and OBT. This is probably because many of us are tired with the usual point-and-click gameplay employed by hundreds of other MMOs. And truly, this game did not disappoint when it was finally released.

As we go to the character creation screen, we are shown four different classes: Warrior, Archer, Sorceress, and Cleric. What we can’t deny her

Gender and game reviews -- the female Perspective

I’m no feminist.  I know it’s gauche to say in this modern age, but I believe that men and women are built differently, that a man is physically stronger for a reason, and likewise in some cases the female of our species is better equipped to do a job than the male.  Equality, as they like to say in education, is not synonymous with fairness.  Is it fair that someone in a wheelchair gets to board the plane ten minutes ahead of those who have been patiently standing in line?  No, not at all, but it provides them an equal opportunity to access the plane.  I see gender issues in much the same way.  In some places in our society, gender roles are there for a reason.

So when I read Tae Kim’s revelation that gender should matter in game revie
