Three more weeks until Phase 3 begins!
I've decided to compile a nice job overview
(As a lot of new people will be seeing other players in this gear)
Paladin, Dragoon, Whitemage, Blackmage, Warrior, Bard and Monk
In FFXIV 1.0, you were able to unlock one of these jobs once you attained level 30
and level 15 in a corresponding class and then completed a quest
for the job's soul crystal, which allowed you to freely change into
that class whenever you wanted.
By meeting certain prerequisites, Disciples of War or Disciples of Magic can change from their classes to more specialized jobs. Taking on a job gives characters access to exclusive skills and actions.
The paladin job sacrifices maximum HP, but this is compensated by way of greatly enhanced defense as well as the ability to cast he

Last weekend, Blizzard had it's Open Beta test for its highly anticipated game, Diablo III. I actually did a blog about choosing between Guild Wars 2 and Diablo III and since then I have been leaning more on the GW2 side (already pre-purchased). However the D3 beta may have just changed my mind.
Let me first say that I haven't played either Diablo 1 or 2 to any extent. So Diablo III was pretty much my first foray into the isometric dungeon crawler. The experience was much better than I expected. Getting into the game was the hardest task - the servers were full at all times. But once I was able to get into Battle.net, it was actually quite enjoyable.
The first thing I noticed is that the game loaded very quickly and had a very beautiful art style. It certainly isn't the best graphics in a game but it definitely had a unique atmosphere and visual appeal. Anyway, I got to play as all the classes and I did a quick breakdown of my opinions on them below. Note that these opinions are

It’s very rare to see a MMO title have more than a small handful of class options available, largely because it can be hard to find an appropriate niche for them all. There are exceptions to this, however, such as Final Fantasy XI, which has a total of 20 different class options for you to ponder over.
F2P title Dofus, however, seems keen to challenge that established rule as well. The six year old

Hi my name is warlian4 and my Wonderking Character is named WarBomber. I'm here to talk about my adventures in a game called Wonderking. But first let me tell you why I really like this game.
I truly loved this game even though it's almost a pinch closer to Maplestory. The interface in Wonderking is easy to learn and get used to. Wonderking Online has a great storyline and classes. Each class describe one of each of these for power elements, Power, Magic, Agility and Range(Swordsman, Mage, Theif and Scout).
My adventures in Wonderking are worth to tell to the world. I started out as disliking Wonderking because I have no clue what to do or it's interface but after I downloaded the game I realised that it's close to maplestory which I didn't like but when I was a pinch close to quitting the game, I faced how easy to learn the interface and how it's more easier than Maplestory.
I decided to learn magic skills because it was stronger than any other class(That's wh

To answer many most commonly asked questions, I've compiled this basic guide for all classes in Ether Saga Online. Here you will find screenshots of them all, along with the most used builds, recommended crafting vocations, and pet advice.
Conjurer is an offensive caster class. They can also cast damage-increasing buffs. Their attacks are intelligence based. They wear light armor and have lower defense than most other classes.
Most Common Build:
Pyra/Unda: Conjurer class skills are based on Pyra and Unda. Each point you put in Pyra gives you +3 intelligence and makes your Pyra-based skills more effective. Unda gives you +20 maximum health points and assists Unda-based skills.
An Alternate Build:
Pyra/Widu: This build trades the +20 HP and the boost for Unda skills Unda would have given you for an additional point of intelligence and increased evasion. Not recommended for PvP.
Recommended Crafting Vocations
Conjurers need Arcanecraft to create their own armor, and Hunting to gather the materials for it.
A commonly asked question is "What pet is best for a conjurer?"
Keep in mind, pets have random attributes when caught. There is no best p

I'll try to characterize the most common playable classes in MMORPGs. They may vary from one game to another but there are essentially almost one of each type of these characters in any RPG.
So let's start:
1) THE WARRIORS (Fighter, Gladiator, Berserker, etc.):
The classic melee character. He is seen in every RPG, he's the first line of combatents and one of the most popular choices among players. These guys are STRENGHT based characters builded to deal great amount of damage in closed combat. They often fight with big weapons as 2-handed-weapons and heavy armor.
1.1) THE TANKERS(Knight, Paladin, Defender, etc.):
These guys, even as warriors, have a differente role. While warriors are there to inflict damage on foes, the tankers are there to hold the enemy lines, not letting them get close to the ranged or magic oriented characters. Also known as "meat shield" their build is based on HEALTH. They have tons of hit points, although very often, their damage is compromised for the lack os strenght.
They are very required on BOSSES and DUNGEON/INSTANCES because of their endurance. They can hold the big guy while the rest of the party is busy doing all the damage

Gosh, it's only the first full week of 2009 and I already have 3 blogs!! You might get sick of me this year XD Anyway, we had class scheduling this afternoon during English... I didn't know that the guidance counselors started next year's scheduling school early! Maybe because Im a junior now, and we get dibs on our first choice of class first. Oh well, dont care, it happened, lol. So, I wasnt too sure of what I was going to take, but heres what I picked based on the counselor's descriptions of a lot of classes:
Core Class: AP English
CC: AP Government and Politics
CC: Anatomy or Biotechnology
Elective: Optical Lab Theory & Dispensing
E: Japanese I
E: Computer Electrionics I or ...something else I wrote I dont remember
Main thing I know I wanna take is PC Electronics and Japanese....So I will know how to put together a computer and because Japanese is wicked awesome. The thing about Japanese is that I would have it on a daily basis, but I have heard that it takes up 2 blocks, but I've also heard it takes up only one block a day...so that makes me worried if it
Okay, i am going to take this very slow for you guys so you can understand everything.
First you guys maybe wonder, WHAT THE ?!#%! is Dofus?
Dofus is a MMO game... like all the others, you kill to advance, to kill more, to advance more... and so it keep going like that until you are level 200.
The main story/quest is to get all the 6 Dofus (it is dragon eggs whit powers) to become strongest in the world.
You start as level one as any of the 12 classes
-The Iop (some kind of mad warrior...),
-The Sram (its like a gay skeleton whos sneaking around),
-The Cra (who is like a normal archer),
-The Sadida (hmm... druid?),
-The Feca (a deffensive class),
-The Xelor (time magican),
-The Ecaflip (Wohoo gambler cats!),
-The Eniripsa (looks like some kind of cleric to me),
-The Sacrier (Emo...Emo...EMO!... don't ask me!),
-The Osamodas (a covard summoner),
-The Enutrof (tresure hunter)
-And the Pandawa (who base their attack on alcohol p2p only!)
When you fight you got 3 important things, the AP (action points) all the spells and attack cost you an X number of AP... and when there is a new round youre AP is full again. The MP (movement point) this tells you how much you can move each round...

With so many new free MMORPGs out on the market there are bound to be games where one class is either extremely over powered or absurdly gimp. The biggest problem with class imbalances are that developers rarely fix them. This isn’t a new problem either. Some MMORPGs have been plagued with class imbalances for years and they choose to ignore them.
The best example of an MMORPG with imbalanced classes is Zero Online. The game only has two classes; Artillery and Infantry. You’d imagine that a game with only two playable classes would at the very least be somewhat balanced, but nope. The artillery class is ridiculously over powered compared to the infantry class. To put these two classes into “fantasy MMORPG” terms the artillery class is a wizard while the infantry class is a warrior. The artillery class can basically annihilate the entire screen in a few seconds using huge laser cannons that can hit 20+ enemies at a time while the infantry class can only attack a single enemy at a time using a sword. Because enemies die incredibly fast, there is absolutely no reason to not play the game’s artillery class. TQ Digital, the developers of Zero Online, have a
