Albion Online's release has been delayed a few times now but now has a set in stone release date of July 17th- and with that inching closer and closer with each day.  It's time I took a bit of time and looked into the stuff that really interests me about Albion Online.. but also about any MMORPG game that I play... the PvP and the GvG content.

Spending any amount of time looking into Albion Online and you can find that the big draws for the game are it's fiercely unforgiving and cutthroat mechanics of full loot pvp and open world PK systems.. or at least zones (which account for half of the map) that allow for that.

As well as an economy that is fueled by loss.  Everything item in the game is created by other players from resources they took from the game.. a

Albion Online finally has a release date, July 17th.

It also received a very big update (not in file size lol) that has changed and added so much to the game it's a bit overwhelming.

Faction bases that spawn daily and weekly bosses that will be contested by many guilds. World bosses, expedition quest that can be done solo or in groups. New skills, changes to the current skill system, more added to the destiny board and a better looking UI.

The world map has also been redone making it easier to find things and giving the world a more immersive feel.

Guild vs Guild and open world PvP will now be more balanced and...

Dear Developers, make sure you clearly understand that there is a long distance between the current state of gathering and anything that can be remotely fun or rewarding to play. It is mostly doing point and click for hours, and getting little or nothing from it, and no game or player can survive such a meaningless piece of boredom and annoyingness!

I am enjoying many other aspects of the AO Silver, am enjoying being part of guild and playing together with other players, and I would like to keep playing for the duration of this Beta, straight into Albion's launch.

So, by all means, make it a priority to change the current state of gathering ASAP so that the game is somehow playable when we reach T6 tools!

Higher tier gear is supposed to be really rare,( especially in kings land where danger of death is really low.)
This game is designed so players use mid tier items 99% of time even really rich veterans that can gather all T8 resources.

High end gear is just for:
flex in cities.

MMO! Show Episode 59 "Week 1/25/2015" Streaming companies are BS!

The industry has a lot of double standards. The biggest ugliest one is  how it handles women. For example notice all of the close to super model community managers? Do you know why companies do that? It's so the male populace is less likely to fry them. Another obvious flaw is game streaming.

Females by far get favortism. Especially if the female is pretty or raunchy. Now the reason behind that is they get viewers. So what company wouldn't want them out there. The bad part of that is the female gamers are being exploited. (Not that they care) Because they get donations out the yin yang. But that still doesn't make it right at the end of the day.

Albion Online First Look

I'll start by saying I'll do a second look. Because this game has a lot of depth. It's not visible at first and its a very simple game. Once you get into the game. You start to realize how much of a sandbox it is. And how much work you have to do. For starters everything you earn in this game you make.

Everything from the tools to the armor weapons even your housing. Can be made from bare materials. It will take you some time to get these items. Some people consider the total earning of everything fun. Me on the other hand appreciated it at first. But after three hours of grind farming...I was already looking for a faster way to do this.

The housing in the game is cool. Reminds me of Ultima Online in looks and feel. You can place a house almost anywhere. As long as land is available in th
