So I recently came across this video which was posted on youtube, about how gaming can make a better world for our society across the globe.

So everyone knows about the top MMO of the past while, which of course is WoW. Now many people have their reasons for disliking this massive online game, but it illustrates just how, as a gaming society, we can as a human race pull together our social and environmental issues of today, and solve them - leading to a better and safer future.

According to Jane McGonigal, the world spends billions of hours a week just playing online games. Now the reason that we do this is it's much easier to shy away from the broken world into a virtual world where we can obtain epic wins, and optimistic social interaction with billions of users within the gaming world, who are willing to work along our characters to achieve any quest that may provide us with the satisfaction of being successful.

ournal Entry

It seems hard to believe it has been over a year since my apprenticeship ended and I entered the ranks of the Conclave of Warlocks. Sometimes, I think that if I knew then how much of my soul I would have to give up to the Powers that fuel my Art, I may have chosen another path. Of course, the adventures I have been a part of and the secrets I have learned would have been but the idle dreams of the innkeeper’s son I was born.

The path my life has taken was set the first time I laid eye on the warlock Garza. Clothed in black, and carrying an aura of danger and power around him, he had stopped at my father’s inn during an excursion to some ruins in search of lost lore.

Throughout the night I noticed Garza’s gaze tracking me from his seat in the common room as I brought out food and cleared tables. Eventually I gathered enough courage to stare back and to my surprise he motioned me over to his table. As I stood before, him he asked me if I had ever heard of warlocks. I admitted that I had heard the whispers concerning these practitioners of dark arts. It was said that warlocks sold their souls in exchange for worldly powers and entered into pacts wit

Someone says game is just a game. That makes a sense. But should we must hold the spirit and the faith of the role we are playing in the game? Last week on the server Lothar in World of Warcraft China while facing the overwhelming attack of the Horde corps, a human paladin named Plapla set herself an good example, telling all her enemies attendant the very final answer: YES.

Plapla is defending her King.

Magni Bronzebeard, the King of Ironforge was the target in the attack, Horde didn't meet any effectual defense of the Alliance because of the imbalance in Realms, just within a few minutes, Ironforge became a complete ghost town, then the last NPC guard was down very soon.

Plapla didn't simplely "quit" as "it is just a game", obviously a "She can't win" game, instead she chose to stay beside Magni Bronzebeard just in the name of her profession, Paladin. A bit far from the point, but you know, seriously this situation reminds me of a classical dialogue in Black Hawk Down: "We are all afraid, but what you do now can make a difference"

Then Plapla shouted out in the world channel: YOU SHALL NOT BE PASSE

Blizzard’s World of Warcraft’s Lady Vashj hits the dust once again as the Alliance Guild, Method from EU-Sylvanas has downed her in for the second world kill. Unfortunately, the encounter was marred with bugs and the raid group wasn’t able to get their much deserved loot.

The raid group wiped after the bats didn’t despawn after Lady Vashj died. The raid leader Korlic sent a ticket and a GM answered the concern. The conversation (click to see the full sized images above) was a bit depressing and they thought that they’ll never get their loot. But after a while, the Blizzard GM informed them that the issue will be investigated and that the ticket should not be closed.

In the later report, Method finally gets their due and their loot. Congratulations to Method on their loot, and also for a slaying well done! May they have many more kills ahead.
