With patch 1.3, Star Wars: The Old Republic finally launched a dungeon finder much to the cheers of most members of the community and the ever vocal, and slightly hostile, minority. On the plus side, those who are interested in the heavy bulk of content that is PVE-related are finally able to go to dungeons, even at early levels on new characters or alts, that most of us haven't even been to before. With a handful of max level characters to my account, even I have only completed about 1/3 of the dungeons that are available, which overall made the game feel a lot smaller to me than what it actually is.
Only recently have I gone through most of the dungeons that I promptly skipped over while level, due to the difficulty, time and effort of pimping myself out on the main fleet when I could have been off actually leveling. Now, with the dungeon finder in place, I'm gathering gear, experience and practice in playing my class properly.
Unfortunately, as it is with mo

Back in 2007, ArenaNet announced they were going to begin the development of the sequel to their successful MMO, Guild Wars noone actually knew how big this was going to be.
When the game was first showcased, jaws started to drop and eyebrows and questions started to raise. "Would GW2 live up to its expectation?", "How big will it be?", and the same old dumb question: "Will it be a WoW-killer?".
When Beta testing started, some of these questions were answered and, as usual, some others appeared.
When someone from ArenaNet was asked about when GW2 would launch, they would always say: "When it's ready". Well, that statement now has a day, month and a year: August 28th, 2012 (August 25th for those who pre-purchased).
Along with the launch date (made public 24hrs after the latest Stress T

We’ll be conducting a stress test on Monday May 14 from 11 AM to 6:00 PM PDT (-7 GMT).
This special test event is open only to Pre-Purchase customers who have registered their accounts. With your help, we can conduct important tests and address some of the issues we identified during our first Beta Weekend Event. During this event, all you need to do is play normally with a new or existing character on your Beta account using the same game client. Please note that since this is a stress test of our servers, you may experience some in-game performance issues. If you’ve pre-purchased Guild Wars 2 and wish to participate in the stress test, we recommend that you register the account and

NCsoft have just sent us an e-mail containing a thank you message for signing up for Guild Wars 2 Beta. In just over 48 hours, 1 million players signed up for a chance to participate in upcoming Guild Wars 2 beta events. Although ArenaNet wish they could invite everyone who signed up to playtest the beta, they do have a limited number of slots available for each event and not everyone will be able to play. ArenaNet know you're very eager for us to send out beta invitations, and we will be sending these confirmations out shortly.
In the meantime, ArenaNet prepared a little thank you for all those who applied - a brand new video that features never-before-seen in-game footage.
Does this video means that most of the 1 million signups will not be selected or shall we consider that those who received the e-mail is probably those who will not be selected? What are your thoughts?

Last August 2011 at Gamescom, Wartower had the chance to interview all the 30 Guild Wars 2 developers from ArenaNet that attended the said trade show. The developers was asked what they love most about Guild Wars 2 and the work they've done for the development. We've got sweet responses from the developers and yes, it will indeed build up the hype more! We've got few months more before the release and the beta will be starting next month while the press have the opportunity to test the game this month. Here's the video compiled by the Wartower, please feel free to share your thoughts.

Mad King Thorn has a very cutting sense of humor. He may reward those unfortunate or foolish enough to encounter him with a quick death or rain ghastly gifts upon them. Players can expect:
