[OWNAGE]The Royal Navy of Great Britain

You've probably guessed it....I'm British, English infact.

A major defence spending programme that will secure the Royal Navy's future
The Royal Navy has always been the greatest navy on Earth. (America has the largest, not the best)
I just wanted to lay down the facts of the new 'super fleet' for her Majesty the queen.
The D-Class systems fleet & the HMS Queen Elizabeth fleet.
The first ship I'm gonna talk about is the HMS Daring, which has been in service for over 80 Years!
OLD

NEW
Much of a difference?

Wondering why there is such a little gun at the front? Because the TYPE 45 destroyer is Anti-Air, and has a missile launch pad behind the gun emplacement. (The raised block just behind it)
The HMS Daring, called that for obvious reasons(It can take on any other ship on Earth)Is the first of 8 new Type 45 AA Destroyers.
Each costing almost $11 BILLION, the project has spanned over 5 years building the most sophisticated ship on water. These ships are built to specifically protect the HMS Queen Elizabeth & HMS Prince of Wales Aircraft Carriers.
The most distinctive design point of Daring is her sleekly designed straight edges and superstructure free from clutter. This is des

Surviving your First MMORPG: Guilds/Crafting/PVP
By: cesarsuki in defaultposted at 12:42 am Jan 11,2008 - 5
Continuing from Building your Character, hopefully this quick guide can help you get the big picture of what happens inside the vast world of MMORPGs.On this section you will find general information about guilds, crafting concepts and Player versus Player dynamics.
Guilds/Clans
Most games support a Guild/Clan feature, if you are not familiar with the term guild think of it as a team. Just like on TV where they have "Blue Team vs Red Team" it’s a similar thing. In some games a single player can create a guild in exchange for gold and/or skill points, or he might need more players to "sign" an application(guild charter) and then register the guild.
Within the guild there are guild ranks, usually the person who is the head of the guild is the Guild Master, Guild Leader or Clan Master. There are also more ranks for officers that have the power to invite more players into the guild and then the rest of the guild members don't have any add/remove powers.
After the guild has been created it can be upgraded to hold more members. Again, exchanging gold and/ or skill points to perform the upgrade.

There are as many different types of guilds as type of players

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning - Dark Elves vs. High Elves Conflict
By: Komido in defaultposted at 6:20 pm Sep 09,2007 - 0
Today we received loads of new screens and artwork for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning along with a backstory for the conflict between the recently divulged Dark Elves and High Elves. We also have a new zone overview of the Chaos Wastes, which is a buffer zone between the real world and the Realm of Chaos.
Based upon Games Workshop’s tabletop fantasy war game, EA Mythic’s Warhammer Online: AoR will hit the PC sometime in the beginning of 2008. Included with the previously mentioned new screens and videos, you can read the entire storyline after the break. This game looks like it just going to give other MMORPG titles a run for their money.
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning - Zone Overview – The Chaos Wastes
The Chaos Wastes, also known as the Umbra Chaotica, lie far to the north of the Empire of Men, near the top of the world. Found beyond even the farthest reaches of Norsca and the Sea of Swords, the Chaos Wastes are comprised of terrain both frigid and desolate, wherein few natural things grow and only the most desperate or highly mutated creatures can hope to survive for long.
The Chaos Wastes exist as a buffer between this world and the Realm of Chaos. While the outskirts of

Warhammer Online Beta Makes History Before It Even Starts
By: Komido in defaultposted at 7:53 pm Jun 14,2007 - 0
On May 10th, EA began the signup for the Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning beta. Now they're announcing that after less than ten days, they've already gotten their target of 200,000 registrants. This makes WAR the fastest growing beta in the history of MMORPGs. Said Mark Jacobs, VP and General Manager of EA Mythic:
“We would like to thank the community for their tremendous response to Warhammer Online. The overwhelming worldwide reaction to the beta test has been phenomenal. The team has been working incredibly hard to create a genre-defining experience, and the beta sign-ups certainly validate the direction we’re taking the game. Player input and testing will be crucial in our efforts to complete the game, and we look forward to beta participants’ help in shaping Warhammer Online.”
The registration is still open though, and you can sign up here.
