GamesCampus announced that it will launch the open beta for its WWII tank warfare third person shooter, Tank Ace, on September 1 at 11 AM PDT.

After a successful closed beta, Tank Ace is now headed into Open Beta. Using tactical-warfare style combat, Tank Ace is an action-packed tactical-shooter featuring realistic World War II battlefields and vehicles based on actual historical facts. Players will choose historically accurate WWII tanks and then customize them by adding additional armor, different styles of camouflage, body art, kill marks, and clan insignias.

 So GM Rico here again, as you probably noticed by the poster avatar. We have four new tanks coming at us with the arrival of CBT2 (more on that after the tanks). I figured that the players would like to know the specifics of these tanks. So without further adeu here they are (click on the picture and choose view image to see the stats easier):

 Developed by the U.S. Army during WWII, it was the last tank put into practice. It was first produced in March 1944, and though it was a small tank, which made it difficult for big people to board, the weapons were light, its mobility and maneuverability were excellent.  Starting from the end of 1994, it was placed in each unit, and was first inputted into the Ardennes Civil War.  Nevertheless, WWII ended before the tank was implemented into each unit and thus was not used in many battles.

Hello Tank Ace Efficianados,

So apparently I need to reintroduce myself here. For those of you who have ever been to the Tank Ace website you likely know who I am. GM Rico, formerly Patton, I am spread like a fine cheese across Cue Online, Manga Fighter, and of course Tank Ace. My job is fairly straight forward, I play with players, I address player concerns and bugs to the development team, and I fill my work table with adorable stuffed animals and militant penguins. That's a fairly existential question, what is anything? Meaning is an autonomous being that exists uniquely for each of us, a ball of clay that evolves as we age.
