So there is a problem going on! yes there is.

OK frist let me say that I am not a WoW fan but a guild wars fan. So frist let me say few things about RoM:
Its a good game for pepple who want to cant afford WoW or WoW addictst who want to quit
It has some main features that were killed cause some smart guy say...lets charge ppl for this. Some the things you have to pay for are basic mounts like hourses, clothing colouring( in my honest opinion that is the really a bad idea. you got a f2p mmo that has its main features arnt free. WoW some mounts are free and in lord of the rings clothing colouring is free. So why charge if you are going to make players come to your mmo?)

So, you might say and some will just jump dont to the comments and leave bad comments. But RoM is a good game right dont to the core but the problem is the F2P structure!

What THATS stupid!

ok just think about it. Name all the F2P games out there and if you had played an B2p or a F2P mmo game.

Xtreme REVIEW! :Runes of magic barrows but not a clone but lacks

I am going keep this short but i am going to nick pic some things about runes of magic. Frist let me say its a good game cant hate but yet can love. Also i am not a wow fan. i know ppl hate wow and based bais opinons on the crappy demo but thats not the point so lets get started.

           Runes of Magic Review
Runes of Magic took me longer to review because of all the other games I had to play over the break like Left 4 Dead, Gears of War 2 and yes Paper Mario 2. The hot topic of this game is that people think that it is very similar to World of Warcraft (a.k.a WoW). Well the truth is yes the game is very similar to WoW but with a few short comings.

          Graphics
Let me say that the game isn’t eye candy. The game looks great for the average F2P mmo player but to me games like Domo, tabula rassa, and Guild Wars look better. Lots of people say WoW looks to cartoony but if you take the time to think about Cartoony graphics would last far longer than decent graphics because in 3 to 4 years it would look like garbage. In my honest opinion they should do some cell shading like what they did in domo. The game has some great visuals though it can be better.

Well I started to play the game a while ago , and there is only one thing to say - it's good :D

For a start, I never got disconnected , and I have never played a game that didn't caused me any lags!

I choosed a mage and there I start.

At first it's hard to find out where you at, because the mapping system is kind of complecated , but I got used to it.

Then I started to fight some mobs, the battle system is average, nothing special, just one thing that desturbed me is the fact that I need to "face the enemy" while I fight it, otherwise you can't attack ><

One thing that annoyed me is the skill system. Almost all of the skills take too long to cool down or to cast.

Another bad thing are the quests. The game is just full of them!!@# God damn it , I finished like 60 quests until lvl 10 XD

              Then, I choosed a secondary job , a warrior... it sucks XD But I don't mind :D

The game's graphics are pretty good, very detailed :D

altought the jumping is again... not very ... ugh I can barely jump over obstacles and stuff :D

The mobs are not something unusual... boars, bandits and wolves >< nothing special :D

The first boss I met is called Yuri... The game lacks so

Weeeeeeeeeeeee and I thought I will wait until December

Well yesterday, I got a very suprising email is said "Invitation for Runes of Magic Closed Beta Test" ... YAY! :D

Luckly , thanks for that I didn't understand that I am not a part from the FIRST testers, I downloaded the client a month ago :D

So I opened a magician called Leonard [I love that name XD]

              Lucky me .... again :D

Well peeps, I am off to play PT2 or RoM , :D

Ugh, I know ...My english sucks, if you find any mistakes, errors, huge-mistakes or some more errors, you can let me know ^^

By the way , why "RoM" is not aviable in the "Category" ? [where you choose Game >> Default / other games].

My first thoughts of Runes of Magic (ROM)

              Okay,

I was invited to the Closed Beta phase 2 of ROM, and my first thoughts........................OMFG

This game awes for graphically inspiring thrills. And to agree with many, a slight hint of World of Warcraft elements perhaps? I didn't like WoW, but this, i most certainly do!

I have decided, as always, to be a knight............but wait, what's this?.......... I can be ANOTHER class too, or the SAME character? What's it called? oh right, DUAL CLASSING.This is when, once a player has achieved lvl 10, they can also become a secondary class as an addition to their primary. If you've played TITAN-QUEST or sumthing like that, you'll know what it is.

              Simply put:

When starting into a new career, adventurers can select to be a warrior, ranger, cleric, knight, mage or rogue. When they reach level 10, they can add a secondary class, which augments the possible class combinations up to 30 individual combination types.

THIS MAKES MANY POSSIBILITES FOR ONE SINGLE CHARACTER! See below!

I'M GOING TO BE A KNIGHT X PRIEST

Although only in Beta, I have not come across any 'glitches' of sorts, only the odd lag every now n then when partying. I find this as a good sign, as ROM is in its early s

              CB are so picky ^^

After attaining lvl 79 I hopped to CB test Rohan Online with my network friends and played that for a bit. Then real life claimed be for its own so I've dropped into oblivion. =)

I still talk to my close online friends and hope to play Runes of Magic or some other game with them again int he close future since they are still awesome people who I very much enjoy hanging out with. The close beta key for RoM seems rather elusive though lol, I wonder if I'll be able to obtain it ^___^ I think I missed the first few waves and the selection I heard has been on the tight side. I hope I will be picked, I miss runing around unknown territory with them~

              Runes of Magic: Pvp system

Okay well I just watched a pvp vid for ROM
              http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4Wt5...eature=related

And let me tell you, looks pretty boring. I'm not knocking the game at all. However the player vs player looks a bit dry. I mean really you could just stand there in front of each other and just hit spell/skill buttons until someone dies. Melee fighters especially.
As opposed to other games that I play where you have to move around, avoid getting hit, jump behind them to do more dmg, stun lock, etc. I mean I could be wrong. It could be just the players in this video aren't that great. Could be anything.
What about the rest of you guys? What do you think?

Must have's of the 90's - A SNES RPG Compilation

For me the SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) was the beginning. It was where it all started. I'd played video games before it; I had the Atari 2600, Commodore 64, NES, SEGA Master System, and the SEGA Mega Drive. I loved them all greatly, and always will, they had so many new and unique games that I honestly don't think I can think of a time when I was bored even once during my childhood. But the SNES gave me something I hadn't really experienced before; it gave me the RPG.

RPG's existed well before the SNES, it's predecessor the NES has several good ones that although great games, unfortunately didn't grab my attention when I was that young. No, the RPG's on the SNES were something else entirely. Not only did they look much better, they also added so many new gameplay elements, involving storylines and gigantic worlds to explore. It's safe to say the SNES games made me what I am today, they left a lasting impression on me, one that now more than ever in a time when new games are produced more easily than a new pair of shoes, I am glad I still have.

I've written this article for three separate reasons. First, so that the younger generation that missed such a great
