So I was busy reading about how some players are struggling with Twin Spears Lann and say how he has no dodging capabilities and his dodge doesn't even work.

Well......

I made this video with all its edits when the boss attacks on raid bosses to help you out if you're having troubles. These bosses attack pretty fast and hard in general in huge swoops. The lesser bosses in the other missions you can pretty much run circles around them without even having to do so.

Also I hope it helps with when to dodge after watching it. All it takes is practice! Some highlights are for example, my Lann takes one of Glas' swords right through his body and chopped sideways and took 0 damage, slow-motioned it for you to inspect. Another is I jump through Siglint's light

So I've recently pumped up my Lann a little bit in Vindictus just to bring you this video I made of me playing a Twin Spears Lann.

For those familiar with the game, no I don't spin to win very much as a Lann. As you'll soon see all I do is just hop around and spin my weapon vertically sometimes or swipe it around then fly around like a maniac.

My main character is an Evie but this is living proof of why Twin Spears Lanns are really strong. Although I only have a base of 12383 attack in this video I came out on top damage by wiping almost a quarter of the boss alone. And I'm only level 68. There's a few 70s in this party and they have well over base 13800 attack and most of them are Dark Knights I'm a Paladin.

The artwork for Mabinogi Heroes' 6th character, Vella, was teased a couple of hours ago. Also known as Vindictus (link) in the West, Vella is a duel sword wielder wearing metal armor according to the images released so far. She seems like the female counterpart of Lann, which is not of any surprise since Nexon's other games, such as Dungeon Fighters Online, are releasing the opposite genders as "new classes" through content updates. 


Update: According to new reports, Nexon claims that while Vella does look and feel similar to Lann, there will be a couple of combat difference. Players will find out she is able to dodge better than Lann, and she can parry and launch counterattacks on enemies. For example, if an enemy attack Vella and she counters at the exact time, she will take

Vindictus Day 2 Playthrough

After Nexon's long 16 hour maintenance we are finally able to experience the game again.
That is until the boats stopped worked and needed an emergancy maintenance.
However I was lucky enough to spend the first couple of hours online and playing on my Lann character.

First off I'm guessing everyone wants to hear about the gameplay and how it's different than most games. Vindictus uses a instance system where you and your party go into instances for missions and kill the boss. Launching a boat is pretrty interesting a different. Vindictus Day 1 Playthrough!

After a frustrating time waitng for the game to release it's doors to players at around 2:30PM server time. Thankfully it's the same timezone as me and I had to go to the dentist anyways so when I got back it was jacked up and ready to go.Vindictus has a mouse or keyboard option. It also enables game controllers such as X-Box 360 and PS3. I haven't tried the controller options so I can't say much there. Keyboard options is nice with remappable keys.
