hey peeps, after watching the new EVE trailer a couple of times over the past few days... I am wondering if all this acting is a good idea at all! I dont want to trash the guy in the Incarna trailer or the girl in the Awakening trailer but it looks like CG characters are somehow better...

Just look at the EVE Future Vision trailer... Watch the CG characters and then take a look at the actors... For some reason my eyes believe that CG is better. I know that actors are really the way to go when you make a movie but why in the heck this guys cant do the trailers in such a way that everything feels right...

It had nothing to do with how they look ok!!! Dont get me wrong, I know that the sci-fi setting is full of crazy arse things like weirdo cloths and such, but something doesnt click into place, specially when they talk, in their faces... They are doing something in the new actor trailers that my subconscious mind tells me that something is not right...

Who knows if they are just chee

Without going into too much detail about how much fun we had doing the Sansha Reborn live events last year or how pleased we are with the overwhelmingly positive reaction to them (you can watch/listen to CCP Dropbear and me whining about all that here, here, here, here, here, here and here), we'd just like to say thank you to the EVE Online community for once again amazing us with your input and helping us define one of the game's most iconic expansions. Seriously, without the dynamic storyline that evolved largely due to player activity, live events and Incursion wouldn't have been nearly as exciting. Nobody wants to sit around chatting about the good old days for hours on end, though, so on with the new stuff!

As some of you have already noticed, Sansha is back (uhm… again) with a vengeance (uhm… another vengeance), having switched his focus from abducting civilians off of planets to hunting down the people who worked to thwart that operation: capsuleers. He's upgra

Game was started as fan project but after long development finaly reached stage of no return wich is why they progressed with the project untill in emerged as one of the best sci-fi mech mmorpg .For those that loves Eve online but wana try something like robots and fighting on land give it a shot sholdn't dissapoint you.

Game itself is post apocalypse mech type game as i played it was still in close beta so i saw only one base in wich you cold have trained skills for skill points you acumulated trough fighting npc.Buy new robots depending on your specialization new weapons armors.Buy mining tools.Craft items if you have materials needed. As game was still in close beat i can't say too much though since it might have changed a lot.

Graphicks:Wery good though rocks being surounded by squares makes it bit glichy

Sound:Well based on the game atmosphere weapons sounds was quite the entertainment

Game play:Lots to do if you spare time for not only grinding but mining and cragfting you can

EVE Online Endures Downtime Due to Breached Security

Gamasutra is reporting that a serious security breach caused the closure of EVE Online this past weekend. A previously-unnoticed anomaly in a database prompted CCP, makers of the game, to close down the game world and their website while the issue was examined. The flaw was rectified, and service restored the same day. No credit card or billing information was exposed in the breach.

"Explained [CCP chief of operations Jón Hörðdal], 'What we discovered was an indication that one of our databases was being accessed through a security breach. Our policy in such cases is to mobilize a taskforce of internal and external experts to evaluate the situation.' Hörðdal said that the taskforce concluded that going completely dark so that an exhaustive scan could be performed was the best course of action. 'While some may feel that such a drastic reaction was not warranted, it is always our approach to err on the side of caution in order to protect the players,' he said."
