Hey guys, today I am going to try to keep myself under control here, not because I am mad or angry, it is because I am shocked by some recent events in EVE. I don’t know about you guys but drama is so distasteful and distressful, especially when it comes from people that you are suppose to trust in game, in other words, your so called friends…

I am going to be honest I am no longer playing in nullsec, nor I am ganking noobs in highsec, at the best I feel like dropping the game once again because I cant stand all the mental illness that surrounds some people in this game.

What the hell is going on???

What is going on is that in nullsec a lot of people are simply Paranoid, they take this game way too f**** serious, this is beyond words guys, its like you try to have a good time and some jackarse ruins it because he takes the game like some sort of psychotic person who is ill with schizophrenia to a whole new level!!!!

I can’t describe my gesture of disgust, all I want is t

CCP, one of the world’s leading independent game developers, announced November 11th as the launch date for the final deployment in the two-part staged release of EVE Online: Quantum Rise, the ninth free expansion for EVE Online. EVE Online players have already begun to enjoy the performance-enhancing improvements of the StacklessIO and EVE64 initiatives which were introduced in an earlier phase of the expansion’s release, and both of which have set the stage for truly limitless combat. Several times in recent weeks, over 1,000 players have participated in single-system battles with extremely minimal lag thanks to these new industry-leading advancements.

These previously unannounced features will debut in EVE Online: Quantum Rise:

• The introduction of In-game Subscription Services. You can now convert your 60-day EVE Time Codes (ETCs) into two 30-day items in game. These “30-Day Pilot’s Licenses” can be traded freely through all regular means (via market or contract or directly between players) and can be activated at any time. This feature will be available on November 11th or shortly thereafter
• Assembly Array upgrades for those wanting

CCP Chief Operating Officer Jón Hörðdal has issued the followingstatement regarding the unexpected interruption of service for EVEOnline and its website on Friday, October 19.

At 10:25 GMT today we discovered an anomaly in the EVEOnline Database indicating a potential exploit. Our policy in suchcases is to mobilize a taskforce of internal and external experts toevaluate the situation. At 12:57 that group concluded that our bestcourse of action was to go completely dark while an exhaustive scan ofour entire infrastructure was executed.

What we discovered wasan indication that one of our databases was being accessed through asecurity breach. While some may feel that such a drastic reaction wasnot warranted, it is always our approach to err on the side of cautionin order to protect the players.

We of course understand the effect and disruption this has had for ourplayers and apologize for not having been able to explain to thecommunity what was going on. In these cases it can often becounterproductive to containment to give out information while we arein the process of evaluating the scope of the problem.

Our taskforce quickly found the security breach and prevented that frombeing use

EVE Online: The Bears and the Rat

Today's article is part of a series of stories from EVE Online. The first installment introduced the elusive leader of the GoonSwarm Intelligence Agency, The Mittani, and detailed his network of spaceship spies.

RedSwarm Rising
In September of 2006, a historic meeting between officials of EVE Online's player-run corporations took place. Red Alliance, the notorious Russian organization, reached out to offer a partnership with the equally-infamous GoonSwarm. For the first time, the traditionally straightforward Russians were using the olive branch, actively seeking a major ally through diplomatic means--and Westerners at that.

Of course, it's not surprising that the American leadership of GoonSwarm rejected the initial offer. Separated by both practical and cultural divisions, the two organizations had never before spoken--and in a throwback to the Cold War, it would take some convincing before the Americans could trust an alliance known for being even more ruthless than they.

It was scary... But we had a spirit like all other Russian--never surrender. "Some [GoonSwarm directors] didn't trust the Russians because of anti-RA propaganda that the Southern Coalition had been vo

Laying the fears of tabletop gamers to rest, CCP (makers of EVE Online) has confirmed that they're already working on a Massively Multiplayer game set in the World of Darkness. The dark setting, a property owned by CCP's new purchase White Wolf Games, will be translated to the Massive genre some time over the next four to five years. There's no word yet on which portion of the setting will be used for the game, but the Eurogamer article hints that vampires will feature heavily in the title.

"The World of Darkness MMO was announced when the two companies merged last year, with both the American and Icelandic operations staying quiet on the subject ever since. Fans have since speculated that the game isn't in active production - rumours Bergsson laid to rest last week. '[World of Darkness] is one of the reasons we were so interested in White Wolf,' [Magnus Bergsson] said. 'It's a very mature IP. It's a great title for us to take and make into an MMO. First of all there are no MMOs like it. We kind of like that, and we want to explore some new avenues with that type of MMO - character-based and not being fantasy, per se. It's a real opportunity for us.'"
