It's All In the Trailer. How the Sneak Peak Reflects The Interest Of Gamers
By: Ammunition in defaultposted at 6:30 pm Jul 10,2012 - 0
Well I have been browsing the Web lately and was looking for some interesting games to play. Often times I found myself being bored of watching the same layer of trailers over and over again. Some trailers sparked my interest and actually made me check out the game. I say that it is important to make a trailer, and gameplay videos that will reflect and attract gamers to that specific game. People who make trailers should be unique and try to attract gamer's with unique ideas.
Games with a well known name such as BattleField, and Call of Duty could produce a lower end trailer and still have more and more people attracted to it. So what do the lower end games should do? Make unique and amazing trailers/game play videos that will attract players in a explosive way so that they will try out the game. Even if the game does not sell to a specific individual, they may have checked the gameplay videos and various other videos relating to the game. As long as individual consum

Frustration: Console Games Changing the Control Keys

Time and time again I am caught between multiple shooting games that change the overall controls. To make it worse some games do not give the option of changing some of the buttons to fit with your style. For example in PS3, in Call of Duty the aim button is on the top left L1 button, but in Killzone 2/3 the aiming button is located on R3 which is on the right analog. Why can't we have the same controls or the option to change the controls to suit our style? Also, I know games are trying to be unique but why did the developers lock the controls?
This is getting frustrating ruining the natural order of gaming. The natural order being gamer's knowing where the sprint, shoot, crouch, and reload is located on the gaming pad. Even then some games change the button config

Call Of Duty or Battlefield? Which do I play?
By: Ammunition in defaultposted at 5:22 pm May 31,2012 - 0
So there is a huge debate a while ago arguing which game is the best among players to play. The choices for FPS slim down pretty well to the chart topping games such as battlefield, or Call of duty. But which one of these games are the best?
To get down what game I truly prefer, it is Battlefield>COD. Ok COD fans don't hate on me to quickly, because I thought call of duty was the best game up until MW3. The fast pace shooting, with a small map, and kill streaks was a pretty fun way to kill other players. But until I just recently bought BattleField 3, aside from playing the slower pace battlefield 1/2, I just felt that Battlefield 3 was a better game.
Battlefield 3 wasn't mindless shooting, and sprinting, it actually required a bit more strategy and skills. Rather than like in COD where I am killing 2 or 3 people and then getting killed from behind, I found that Battlefield had a better spawn position. I wasn't dying as much from getting killed right a

Counter Strike: Global Offensive - Your Thoughts

New Counter Strike?
[Not really, just an upgrade]
I've always been a big fan of MMOFPS games, but it was when i got into Counter Strike: Source that I found FPS games even more interesting. Counter Strike: Source has been my most favourited shooter, since 2006. What amazed me was not its simple concept but the idea of installing mods onto servers, creating your own scripts, skins, sounds, textures, maps. Its a game about customization. You would have Surf, Zombie, Minigames, Jailbreak, HideNSeek, Search and Destroy, Team Deathmath, Deathmatch, Puzzle, Aim, Gungame, RPG. and a shit load of other mods you can come up with.
But enough of Counter Strike: Source, Lets move onto the next generation of Counter Strike. But maybe not.

Please rate and comment
I was doing some light reading and I just had decided to go check out some gaming sites. What I found is seem interesting to me. As you all know Activision had merger with Blizzard Entertainment and also there are lots of speculations of what sony plans to do with its new parter, NCsoft.
So What?
- Well I also read that Ncsoft plans to relase anticipated mmo's like Guild Wars or Blades and Soul on the ps3. We all know that mmo's can bring in alot of income Even Activision had several discussions with its shareholders to make call of duty a p2p model. We are also seeing alot of mmo's strarting to become alot more action oriented like lost saga, dragonica, and wonder king for example. This leads me for start thinking that mmo's will start leaving the pc front and switch over to the console to try to appeal to a lager audiance.
We know its possible to make an mmo on a console but will these future mmo's will be less stat and equipment ba

Russia Bans Modern Warfare 2
By: Hyuk in defaultposted at 10:48 pm Nov 15,2009 - 0

Due to the nature in which Russians are portrayed in Modern Warfare 2, the country has banned the sale of the game and have begun to recall all copies that were already sold.
The most complained about part of the game centers around a group of terrorists shooting civilians inside a Russian airport. Infinity Ward is already working on a version of the game that completely removes this level and is hoping to re-release the game in less than a month's time. However, this new version may still not be enough to allow the game to be sold in that region given how the game centers around a war between the US and Russia.
Russian gamers are apparently very unhappy with the game's content. One Web site, GotPS3, railed against Infinity Ward for catering to an American audience and ignoring the sensitivities of other cultures. The site believes that Infinity Ward portrays the Russians as terrorists.
This isn't the first time a country has taken issue with how their homeland was portrayed in a game. Another recent example is when the Venezuelan government took issue with Mercenaries 2 or when the North Korean government took issue with Ghost Recon 2. [TGN]

This game is pretty good and I got it for Xbox 360. It has the same game engine as COD4 aka Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. The game play and the frame rate is kick ass! The guns are sweet and lethal, My choice of the weapon types are Rifles and Bolt Action Rifles. But the Online experience isn't the same as COD4 because there is less places to take cover and guard or camp. Probably a good thing for most people in the FPS genre. It's just isn't the same anymore... BUT IT STILL KICKS ASS! Money Well Spent. Thanks for reading. :D
