well, acclaim's baby steps at improving 9Dragon's pvp did work out this time with these two subsequent patches

they fixed the mistake they made in patch 74, and now a nuker 24 lvls below you will miss 80%-90% of the time... this applies to the nuker role only, and therefore pvp based maps include all varities of roles =)

while the mood has calmed down alot.... nukers... are ... still.. overp0wered....

how?

well.... lvl to lvl --> nuker vs any other role ... nuker will win

why?

1. the lack of Chi Kung Defence items means all other roles take 3000+ hit with each nuke
2. the easy availabilty of Physical Def items means Nukers receive a MAXIMUM dmg of 500 only

500 hit vs 3000 hit... guess who wins... nuker ofc

i hope the community keeps the pressure on acclaim

the forums have chilled down a little, as high level warriors can easily kill mid lvl nukers who were bothering them AND also the lack of presence of high lvl nukers ( since they pvp most of the time - and not grind)

NOTE: I would like to have spent more time on this review, but I didn't have much time for it. I might make changes to it later, but most likely not. I would like to make another review before the end of the year as I have been rather inactive as of late. Several key features are left out unmentioned such as the tutorial system or the hero arena.

 

9Dragons is an MMORPG designed by Indy21 and published by Acclaim for western audiences in the US and EU. It is infamous for being very grindy and having numerous issues including slow updates because of Indy21 and lack of update information. It has enough to make it stand out from the other eastern style MMOs and have spawned some copies such as Twelve Sky.

Story:

The history and prologue to the game is posted on the website. The story in game follows your character's rise in the world of kung fu by joining a clan and becoming a prominent member of your clan while trying to discover the whereabouts of your clan's dragon and their fate at the duel of the nine dragons. Most of these involve you running circles and running errands.

Graphics:

The graphics is probably the most impressive part of 9Dragons. There are limited choices in

i have been playen 9Dragons for 2 years now and the only way i could found this game is  been an MMosite member .

I'm reposting this large essay like post/thread I originally made on the 9dragons Off-topic Forum. I doubt anybody remembers this because I posted it about a year or so ago :P. It might have made alot of grammar errors in it :P (Now that I look back on it I'm surprised I managed to write that much... Or write anything that opinionated...
