Hey peeps, it looks like Nintendo is going to do something that is not so cool at the eyes of a lot of people in youtube, they are going to claim all the Nintendo games profits and the video makers are going to get nothing! The thing is that the copyright laws are on their side, so there isnt much we can do about it at all.

I know that this is going to be an outcry and some players are going to start trashing Nintendo and saying that they are against free media and against free speech. The thing is that we can post videos about Nintendo games but we cant get money out of them. So there is no reason to release videos about those games unless you want to have some fun making them.

On the other hand, some other people are at the side of Nintendo, maybe I am one of them, who knows... The pro Nintendo move against monetization are pointing out that the games are made by Nintendo and that adding a small voice over made by you, talking about the game, doesn't make it yours because you don

The thing is that I am enjoying that game, is really fun to play, but as a whole, its lacking a bunch of stuff, if you are wondering what is missing in the game... Well, you have to play SimCity 3000 and SimCity 4... Then you will know what is missing in the game.

Regardless of the issues, the game can be fun if you can overlook the issues. Unfortunately, not everyone can ignore the problems in the game!!! The maps can be small, there is some serious problems in some mechanics, there is some design flaws and the servers are very unstable, not to mention its hateful DRM!!!!

I have to be honest, sometimes I do feel that we do have 3 generations because we have 3 kinds of mmos, or at least in general we have 3 basic design approaches, Sandbox, Standard and GW2 Hearts...

I know that in video games you can copyright the actual game code, graphics, models, sounds and characters but you cant copyright the mechanics, no one owns the copyright of the First Person Shooter or Strategy mechanics... Someone that doesn't do damage, dont heal and is not a tank! lol!! I know that it sounds dumb but that is the friggin true, if you are able to heal, do damage or tank, then you are not a friggin support class you are something else. The problem is that sometimes you dont do any of those things so you are really support but as I said before, what the norse are you suppose to do???

Maybe you peeps dont even notice it but it looks like the 3 factions trend is starting to pick up some speed!!!! I dont want to feed the lovers of the 3 factions nor the haters but I do see something very interesting here...

It looks like the old school "3 factions player distribution system" used in DaoC and RF Online is starting to pick up some speed after all the games made using only 2 factions...

I know that the fans of DaoC will say that its way better to have 3 factions than 2 factions because of the balance and the haters are going to point out that 2 vs 1 is not exactly a 3 way battle at all... That is not the point!!!!

1. We got a new EVE Online 'expansion' with new stuff around the place... Inferno is not exactly a ground breaking thing but a couple of features in this patch are what I call a nice improvement and not just a hotfix...

2. Tera! was finally released, the game apparently sold well and their fans are somewhat happy with it... Its too darn bad that all the complaining about grinding was inevitable... Why people say that the game is all about questing grinding? I dunno... I dont want to figure it out at all... Regardless, TERA was released around May 1 or 3, so at least it deserves to be mentioned...

I am not sure if the world is going to end this year, to be honest I think that the Mayan calendar is full of crap, just like me own calendar because it ends in December 31. I am 97% sure that the world is not going to end this year but I dunno if the MMOs as a whole are going to survive at all…

First, the TORTANIC!!!! Aka SWTOR!!!! That game was released in 2011 but so far the game is having problems, it didn’t lived up to the expectations of the friggin community. I heard that they are going to merge servers soon, which can be a bad sign if they end up with a very low population that barely cover up the maintenance costs, not to mention the game shortcomings…
