It's been a long while since I've posted the last DoTA match for Team MMOSite. For the people who have been waiting for this, I'm sorry that it took so long too many exams hitting me hard. This match was played 1 year ago so bear with me as I talk about a really old match xD

MMOSite is still trying to increase their DoTA 2 community making it more interactive and we're getting a bigger team this time. Again we allowed the community to vote on which hero you wanted us to play as. Although the team composition wasn't great we still pushed forward and tried our best.

Our team, the Dire once again selected Lich(Zephy), Sniper(Collussus), Shadow Fiend(Kelleranna), Lifestealer(Nak123), and finally Tidehunter(iLovecat). Although iLovecat wasn't supposed to use Tidehunter we let it slide

EDIT: I will probably be redoing my League of Legends review once Season 3 starts. The changes to Twisted Treeline and the addition of All Random and The Proving Grounds has made the game quite different.

EDIT 2: It seems that Dota 2 will be getting a bunch of seasonal game modes for events. Diretide was for October and there is a new one for December. Unfortunately, I do not find this one as fun.

Recently, the issue that RaidCall and its branch office in Vietnam, CENS, which was the exclusive sponsor for the DotA 2 RaidCall Asian Cyber Games Vietnam 2012, has decided to self-withdraw the sponsor contract with the organizer is IGN.vn, is making wave in Vietnam DOTA 2 Community.

As IGN.vn stated, from the beginning, when CENS had known about the DotA 2 Asian Cyber Games Vietnam 2012 qualifier to select the representative to compete at The Asia in Malaysia, they came to IGN.vn to offer to be the exclusive sponsor for the tournament, and change the tournament’s name to DotA 2 RaidCall Asian Cyber Games Vietnam 2012.

According to the contract, CENS must transfer 70% of the sponsor package to IGN.vn before August 27th; however, CENS kept delaying the transfer with unreasonable excuses

Now before anything is read I just want to mention these builds are simply for fun or ridiculousness I don't know its viability/usefulness since every time I've tried it its either complete success or doomed failure or the masses come flaming. I don't think anyone would actually build this since I haven't seen any of it in game other than from myself but I do remember in the DotA 1 days some friends laughed pretty hard when it was achieved. Apart from that I still do it in DotA2 and works very much the same (Yeay to Valve for literally keeping what they said, "The game mechanics will not change and be very familiar to that of DotA 1")

I think it’s definitely interesting Valve has added Rooftrellen to the champion pool this early as in Dota 1 he is a pretty powerful champion that has been nerfed so many times so it will be interested to see how he fairs in Dota 2 and what stats and numbers they give to his skills to balance him, or if they’ll leave him to dominate.

He’s a strength hero who makes a pretty great support/ganker. He’s an old favourite of mine and I can’t wait to see how he plays, here are the full patch notes.

New screenshots released by Cyborgmatt shows the in-game shop interface for DoTA 2 currently in testing. Indicating that DoTA2 will most likely have a Free2Play model.

Looks like Valve might adapt a similar system like League of Legends, allowing player to purchase different cosmetic weapons and armor for each hero. (Possibly lots of silly hats like in Team Fortress 2 for your favorite heroes)

So that thing about them sending out a lot more invites for Dota 2 is true. One of my friends got his the other day, and I got mine a couple hours ago, and before any of you ask, I already sent out my 2 gift passes to some friends.  

Now, I am not a Dota player. I never played the original, and I have only played other moba style games like League of Legends and Heroes of Newerth, so to be honest I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from the game itself.

My friends and I only played a few matches of the game, and to be honest, I think I will be sticking with LoL. I did like the ability to deny creeps, the variety of heroes was nice, and there were pleny of items to select and make a build off of. The other day on Dota 2’s blog, if you missed it, they’ve announced a few things. First was the Dota 2 Star Championship (Which leads to a broken site at the moment.). They also shared a change log on steam where you can check out some of the changes that recently happened to the game, such as new characters, fixes for characters, and other things you can check out here: store.steampowered.com/news/6812/ .  The last bit that they announced is sure to interest most of you, is that they’re really starting to send out more invites now, and say if you have been waiting to get  into the beta to, “fret not, it’s coming!”
