ArchAge has announced yet another community-based event. This time, it will be an architectural contest between players. The rules are fairly simple; all you need to do is screenshot your beautiful house and submit it to Rose Avonelle of the Joyful Homebuilder’s Society.
This time, she decided to go hand-in-hand with the season, so the theme will be "Summer Home". For those who don't know, your main goal will be to make you house look as the best summer representative there is. When people look at your home, it needs to remind them of summer.
If you think you can win this contest then wait no more. The contest already started on Friday, June 24 and will end on Friday, July 8, 2016. On Friday, July 15 the ArcheAge will stream the closing ceremony where winners will be

Trion decided it was time to cheer up some fans for their fantasy-themed MMORPG ArcheAge shortly after their recent major update, Patch 2.9 has arrived.
ArcheAge hosts plenty of seasonal costumes and ones that only stick around for a short while. This can easily lead to players missing out on some decent outfits that they somehow forgot to get a hold of.
The publisher decided it was time to bring back some vintage costumes in case someone failed to buy them. "Been missing an old favorite that you never got in your wardrobe? Now’s your chance to get your hands on it!" This is a great opportunity to buy some of those good old costumes that are no longer available in ArcheAge. Until June 3, you guys can also choose from plenty of lockboxes at the marketplace that include some
The Asian farm simulator slash MMORPG, Archeage, has been here for us to cause frustrations for a while now and yet regardless of a noticeable amount of complaints around the lovely web, not much has been changed that would favor the western player base.
The basic idea of the game is not bad and this whole freedom promoted by the open world sandbox system could really do well, but if you take a closer look, freedom in ArcheAge is actually limited by some nasty little features that should all just be simply removed.
Labor is one of these extremely useless elements of ArcheAge. I mean, yes, it is great that you can earn massive amounts of XP by spending tons of real and in-game currencies on labor potions but who the hell wants to be told how much they can mine, farm, cook, open purses and so

Reported through MMOCulture
In an official news posted on ArcheAge’s website today, it was reported that a player of ArcheAge Korea caused a din at XLGAMES’ offices on 3rd May, kicking on the office’s glass walls and trying to enter the premises due to lack of support over his hacked account.
Of course, he was restrained by the company security guard. But according to voice records posted on an internet forum (here and here), the guard was also at fault for his aggressiveness, leading to XLGAMES apologizing to the player involved as well and promised to “enhance the training for security staff in the future”.
XLGAMES is also looking into an overrall review of the customer service procedures. The player’s ArcheAge account was apparently hacked several times despite being

XL Games showed more of ArcheAge at the Tencent Games Carnival today.
A 14 minute playable demo of ArcheAge was available there as well as a new trailer.
(NOTE: The trailer shown was from earlier this year back in may)
Building houses doesn't seem as easy as it looks in the trailer itself
you're going to need help from other players (That's if they want to help you)
Hang gliding, swimming and more awaits in ArcheAge.
So take a look at the trailer and the gameplay demo below:
At the tencent games carnival 2012,
XLGames' most anticipated MMORPG ArcheAge
showed off a brand new trailer.
(Whether it is for the game's launch is puzzling)
ArcheAge is also said to use CLOUD technology
to allow players to download the game as they play
in order to get into the game faster.
This makes the game more accessible to players as well
and makes the game easier to download for those on slow connections.
The trailer can be seen below.

I am sure the Western gamers know about services such as OnLive and Gaikai, hence this cloud thing should not be a stranger. Since ArcheAge is an online-only title, it just makes sense to go cloud. In the future, ArcheAge’s tablet client will be using this technology as well. Yes, revealed for the first time, a tablet client is in the works!
I am very excited to say that ArcheAge is definitely going to be released to the NA and Europe. I am not sure why I had my doubts about it coming to the rest of the world (I guess I'm a cynical person), but I'm very glad my doubts have been proven wrong! XLGames’ Suk Woo Choi announced in an interview with Mmorpg.com (those lucky bastards) at E3 that they hoped to have ArcheAge live in Korea by the end of this year, and for ArcheAge to get to the NA by 2013 or 2014.
This is sadly, a very long time to wait, but it will most assuredly be worth the long wait. I doubt that another themepark+sandbox mmo like ArcheAge will come out anytime soon. Guild Wars 2 is really just a distraction to me until this beautiful game comes to the NA. It's weird to be so excited about a game that I haven't
