This could be a review In a sense, though I'm going for something a bit different in with the "issue" bit, I'm really hoping ArenaNet manages to fix as it's basically a world vs world issue to everyone.

So one of the "joys" is just how well the questing has been created in this game, It's at a point where it doesn't even really feel like questing, it makes an MMO into what an MMO should actually be which isn't talking to every NPC with a ! over his head to either kill 10 spiders or kill a bunch of boars and bring back some meat from their corpse, then do more quests just killing different looking mobs 100+ more times in attempt to reach level cap.

I'll begin this article by stating that I did not have a chance to participate in any of the beta testing related to Guild Wars 2. I actually only acquired the game 12 hours prior to it's early release. This was by pure luck! A friend of mine randomly showed up in Teamspeak and purchased it for me, allowing me the chance to play now and pay him back later.

So I got my download finished, patched up the client and waited for the servers to open. Once it hit 12 midnight EST, the fun began. I had saw from videos that this game was very artistic in it's cinematics and GUI, but you don't really grasp that feeling in full until you are playing the game yourself. Everything felt so finished, crisp, colorful, and smooth. Including the character creation and customization.

Guild Wars 2 hyped to the max right up until it's release... which was practically on the night of August 24th, 2012 for those extremely eager to play.

Call me a liar if you will but yes the servers were up at the night of the 24th, they even said it on their forums/facebook page saying if you're really really darned eager to play they'll have it maybe 3-4 hours prior to headstart launch. They sure followed through with what they said on just a maybe. I certainly was on and the day wasn't even the 25th yet.

So far through my experience of the time I've played I've experienced no issues so far other than my own computer memory(RAM) screwing up on me being somewhat faulty. So game-wise I haven't ran into serious issues that forced me to stop playing.

For many gamers out there, the 25th of August was a day marked down as the release date for Guild Wars 2, of course if you'd already purchased the game. As the day came closer and closer ArenaNet, the company behind the game hosted many stress tests to try and finalize and polish the game before the release. Everything was looking well, apart for some optimization issues which would and will probably be worked out within the next week or so.

But come release day (3 day headstart) the game seems far from ready. Currently 9 hours after official release the game is still not accessible to most of the players.

There was a patch issued but unfortunately for some connection error reasons, customers cannot download it, as the game's launcher won't connect to their servers. Patching in previous beta weekends and stress tests was flawless.

Hey all! LD50Lulz here, and I just wanted to type up a nice little GW2 blog. I have played all the betas and enjoyed every second I was in game. I think this game is amazing, and yes, I'm sure a lot of "trolls" and non-Guild Wars players are flaming this game, but let me give you some insight from a avid MMO player. I have been playing MMOs for since I was 12. I have played everything from WoW, EQ2, Warhammer, Vanguard, SWTOR, Rift, DC Universe, Champions Online, City of Heroes, and more. Now, EQ2 I have logged 4 years and I loved it. I have a 90 Berserker, 90 Templar, and a 90 Shadowknight. I love the classes in EQ2, I enjoyed every dungeon and raid I ever ran in that game. But repetitive grinding became an issue after completing the leveling of 3 characters. But, EQ2 offered some cool aspects, such as skill trees.

Now, for most gamers, skill trees are not really a unique aspect to any game, as they have been around for years. But, EQ2, Warhammer, WoW, and Rift off
