Hey guys, so this is the fifth episode of the show, in this episode I'm testing a new format, where at first I'm telling what I'm going to talk about during the show, for open world based games, I'm not going to show you how I walk from from town A to instance B because that is kinda boring and takes time. As for Firefall, the game had a huge update, and changed how the game is played and everyone freaks out because of that, and me the good guy that I am I'm trying to explain you how some of the new fearures work.

After a long vacation in Tibet I have returned and am ready to begin giving out more wonderful Firefall beta keys!

Whats up gamers im your host Zach Sharpes here with some more MMO goodness. This time around though I thought it was time to explore Firefalls PVE. Since I havnt touched Firefall in quite some time, this acts as somewhat of a My First Hour Of video as well! A two and one! Question Of The Video: What did you think of Firefall as a whole once you watche

The Firefall team made a big announcement the other day that there are now over 500,000 registered members for the beta game alone. The next update to FireFall will be the biggest push out to date as they are finally going to be releasing the highly anticipated new core gameplay mechanics. In addition to this coming update the team has given us a sneak peak at yet another new feature to be put into the game in the upcoming patch which is the ability to duel other players in the open as well as, you can also duel other squads of any size. Red 5 Studios released a great video today that explains all about how the FireFall SIN (Shared Intelligence Network) actually works and how important it is to your enhanced game play.

The Red 5 team is doing a great job at listening to what the player base is asking and even in its beta phase it is clearly noticeable how much effort is being put into bringing out what will be one of the best MMO's to the market. This is a very team based game in PVE mode and my experience has been fantastic in terms of being able to quickly find a group of players to help you complete your missions.

Before you ask, no I don't have any more keys to give out, when I do, I will make another post to give more of you guys a chance to grab one. Even if you just read what I write here, I do highly recommend watching the full video so you can get a better grasp of what is going on and hear it from what they say, not just what I write here. Moving on, the development team has been working on the game and trying to get feedback from the fans to figure out how they can make the game more fun, so much that they invited several players to come to the office to see what changes they have planned with the overall development of the game, and actually give them a chance to play head to head with some of the devs, which is pretty cool since I never really hear of companies going that far with their fans.

In today's development update the big news is to make the game more skill based instead of level based. Getting rid of levels, yes that is what the main change will be about. This is going to change how you build up your character and mechanics of your battleframe. 


You will be given all the choices upfront based on your battleframe weight class or now what will be called tiers. You can choose which weapons, abilities, or different modules that you want to progress with. There will be battleframe and equipment constraints, which means your battleframe can only hold so much weight and the more you attach to it the less weight you will have available.
