Move Out The Way?To start off, we all know some games where players could be blocked off by other players. Being realistic, players have no way of going through another player without having to jump or find another path. Take For example, if a player is standing infront of the door, you have no chance to move past the player and get out
With great progress comes great pains. The patch is a definite case of good coming with the bad. For one if you built power with the mod system. Your about to cry like I did when I logged in to an empty section. I knew the old system was rather bloated with exploitable areas.
That was addressed but at the cost of what we had currently. However you do have a conversion system in place for the old system. Below in the patch notes in it’s entirety. I’ll be doing more videos in my warframe series. But it maybe awhile I have to rebuild my mods from scratch.
Update 7: "Stormbringer"
Prepare yourselves, Tenno.
We have 'soft launched' open beta! To celebrate this we are bringing you this massive update! A ground-based environment. A radical redesign of the Mod system. Two new deadly Warframes. New weapons including a deadly silent bow. Our distribution servers are getting slammed. Its a storm alright!
NOTE: Respec required due to a massive overhaul of the Upgrade ("Mods") system! New
Any gamer will be familiar with the fact that microtransactions are a big part of the gaming industry nowadays. The option to pay for further choices or bonus features is becoming more and more prevalent, especially since the success of MMORPGs such as World of Warcraft.
Blake Jorgensen is the CFO of Electronic Arts, and when he spoke at last week’s Morgan Stanley Technology, Media, and Telecoms Conference, he told consumers that more and more microtransactions will be built into EA games.
In these microtransactions, the gamer can buy a variety of extra features by giving credit card details to the game being played. Microtransactions don’t need to be purchased in order to progress in the game, but they can give one player the edge over another; as such, some see them as a worthwhile purchase. However, many microtransactions are simply for cosmetic purposes, such as a new costume or weapon, and these ones have been criticised as simply another way to extract money from the consumer.

As a bonus for the day here's beta coverage of Warface. I got into this game two days ago its buggy as all life with cloud. But it seems we can play at least a little to get a few missions out. I did pretty well in this mission and I really like the team mission's instances. This game should do fine if they get rid of the cloud non sense.
So recently, EA and their Maxis branch released the new SimCity for PC. The catch was that this was online only as a form of Digital Rights Management (DRM) to deal with the copyright infringement. Unfortunately, when you make a game online only, you need to have servers that can handle the number of players. This means that servers have to be prepared ahead of time before launch so that everyone can log on once the game is officially released. As we have seen with other games, including MMOs, this never happens. A game's population tends to peak during the first few months and it declines until the death of a game with the rare spikes that occur when expansion packs are released.
Over the years, EA has experimented with numerous forms of DRM. The earliest form was probably CD keys that restricted people to only 1 allowed online at any given time so that people could not share keys. They used online authenciation to try to curb that, but some people just disconnected their Internet

Does anyone remember the early days of JRPGs, in which the translator heavily altered the dialogue either due to fear of the ESRB or because they thought they were being clever? The "Translator" for Ecol tactics did just this, except there was no ESRB to fear. The dialogue in Ecol tactics is riddled with out of place humor and the characters have obviously had their dialogue rewritten. Take "Luke" for example. He's supposed to be the head of the mercenaries guild and he certainly looks tough and battle-hardened. However, his dialogue was changed so he speaks like a caveman jock and refers to himself in third person.
The game is so riddled with obvious changes to text and dialogue that it becomes hard to continue playing if you're playing for the story. Story being a major part of why we play tactics games in the first place. Imagine Ramza spouting memes and lulz and you've got how out of place the jokes are in this game.
If you can get past the ridiculous liberties the transl
